stevejp Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 This Indian Restaurant clearly doesn't know how to spell "Dalek". I never imagined they'd taste like mango or pistachio, either. I'd guess more of a metallic taste - but I've no intention of finding out ... 1
mikeprice Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 probably with some hint of gearbox oil and overtone of bile probably with a chewy texture unless cooked over a low blaster for several hours
stevejp Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 probably with some hint of gearbox oil and overtone of bile probably with a chewy texture unless cooked over a low blaster for several hours What about the people who prefer the leg meat?
StevieM Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Not a product but, while I was staying at Sarum College last week, there was a notice above the toilet that read: Only toilet paper should disposed of in the toilet. All other waste material should be placed in the bags provided and put in the bin. All other waste material?! You mean I should... ...in a bag?! 1
6Foot2 Posted June 26, 2019 Author Posted June 26, 2019 Link: [brian Cox Picture Tweet] I do not see how this can be accurate. If you tried to fit an infinite amount of information into the restaurant it would collapse to form a black hole. 2
ICTDirect_Dave Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 Link: [brian Cox Picture Tweet] Ahh that's my kind of scientifically accurate bad joke!
6Foot2 Posted June 26, 2019 Author Posted June 26, 2019 Ahh that's my kind of scientifically accurate bad joke! Ooh, scientifically accurate TERRIBLE joke! Do you think they will accept the gravity of their situation/mistake?
LeMarchand Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 A bit of word play that seems to undervalue the "product". It's technically accurate, but makes it sound as if T Levels aren't actually as good as A Levels. 2
bald_pig Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 Not even heard of T levels... *googles* "When a BTEC and an apprenticeship love each other very much..."
6Foot2 Posted June 26, 2019 Author Posted June 26, 2019 Steady on there, I'm still looking after this one!.. 1
6Foot2 Posted June 27, 2019 Author Posted June 27, 2019 Freezer capacities stated in (slightly?) worrying ways: 4
StevieM Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Steady on there, I'm still looking after this one!.. That has brought to mind a A-board outside a shop near where I used to live. I don't have a photo, but the sign was set out like this: Gladrags --------- Nearly-New Babies and Childrens Wear Every time I walked past, I was always tempted to go inside and ask if they had one about 6-months old. 1
mikeprice Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Freezer capacities stated in (slightly?) worrying ways: Is that just the average portion size measurements for a US restaurant?? 1
bald_pig Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 As for this..... Doesn't count, it's not badly labelled, just "witty"
mikeprice Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 Hmm - that 100% thing does get over used I needed some acetone a week or so ago - found some in the lab flammables cupboards - nail polish remove 100% acetone - with jojoba oil - so not 100% acetone them???? (for the curious - to 'solvent weld' 2 3d printed things together)
6Foot2 Posted July 20, 2019 Author Posted July 20, 2019 No babies! If found babies will be ejected. Read the manual!
mikeprice Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 didn't James Bond have one of them in his first Aston Martin?? I thought it was made for bad guys - but crying babies can be annoying as well - but I suspect blasting them out of the roof may contravene one of those damn EU H&S regulations they foisteried on us - like bendy bananas and purple passports
