Remove / Hide "Network" from Explorer window

Hi all, I just need a little help with some GPO's, I'll post one at a time, as I find them. I'm in the process of locking machines down for students before we roll out the new image now. I'm hoping that we can hide the "Network" link found in the left hand pane in windows explorer: Edited June 26, 2017 by manamaga2512

Yeah, I did see that post but I was hoping it could be done via GPO? Looking at that post, would we not have to do this manually / local on each machine?

We have a GPO pushing out this registry edit and it seems to work okay for windows 7,not sure about 10 though:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}\ShellFolder]"Attributes"=dword:b0040064

Yes it does work in 10. It will apply to everyone you specify when you target the gpo
