jonnykewell1 Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Google reverse image search has to be correct?!? haha I just tried the same thing.
LincolnE Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Reminds me of a key I used to have to use for vending machines at work. Around that size in green (but not quite the same shape, so perhaps not). 1
pete Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 (edited) Lockout tag for something? Metal bit goes in somewhere and prevents something operating, blue bit is to put it in place without getting fingers near the mangly bits? Can we see a side and end profile? What job does the owner do? Edited June 8, 2017 by pete
JJonas Posted June 8, 2017 Author Posted June 8, 2017 (edited) I can get those photos tomorrow. Owner is a retired pensioner. Edited June 8, 2017 by JJonas
elsiegee40 Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 I can get those photos tomorrow. Owner is a retried pensioner. Retried? Proven innocent or guilty? It could be relevant 4
FN-GM Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 I think it is a tag you use that is associated with a bar tap. When you order the drinks they tag it on the till to charge to that tab.
forkies Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 My guess would be an old style drinks stir with the metal end to replicate ice. I.e. You put the thing in the case in the freezer and then you can pop the metal end in your drink without getting it watery.
GrumbleDook Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Throgwoppit? Sounds very Roald Dahly To be used when the floggletoggle is broken! 2
mikeprice Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 I was wondering how long it would take before this thread became silly took longer than I thought 3

LeightonJames Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Is it not an older style Radar Key, you know for disabled toilets and the likes??

On a similar theme some pubs near us allow you to put your debit card into a draw and open a tab and they give you a key. You then go back at the end of the meal to pay your tab and they take your credit card out using that key to pay for the meal.

bald_pig Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 I don't know what's worse, that there's a metal thing you put into your mouth to improve your breath, or that there appears to be an off-brand one as yours is made different!

bald_pig Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 ...or that @JJonas's colleague's mum forgot about her halitosis problem . Or that a few people have probably touched the metal end while trying to work out what it was... 1
synaesthesia Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Why do those even exist? Why is that any better than sucking a spoon?
