Teen dating site being used for grooming - one to block

Morning all

 

Just had an email from one of our local police officers raising awareness of a teen dating site that is actively being used to groom kids. Alarmingly our smoothie box wasn't blocking access to this site so I have had to manually add it to a block list.

 

Recommend as many of you as possible check to see whether or not this site is blocked by your filtering solution - http://crush.zone

I should add that I have reported this to Smoothwall directly and asked for the site to be added to the appropriate category.

Thanks for this, we have now categorised this as Dating sites & Adult Sites. Changes will take affect after tonight's blocklist update.

Categorized as forums.dating on ours - which the site is I guess. This category is blocked for pupils here.

That's odd. forums.dating is blocked on ours, but the site is still open. Added it to my URL block list.

I'm at another school now that is using lightspeed and it's blocked under forums.dating category but the other school wasn't.. Odd.
