DalekSec Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I'm trying to find somewhere to buy a projector arm like the one pictured below, i need it to be about 2cm+ longer than this one (AAA Battery for scale). We have about 20 of this length and 0 of the longer one! Which is a pain as i went to put up a projector and couldnt as didnt have the right arms... I've tried searching online for diffrent terms such as 'Projector ceiling mount arms' and 'Projector arms' but to no avail! So does anyone know where i can get these or know the correct term? Many Thanks!

NB9457 Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Design and Tech are usually helpful for stuff like this, they make have something similar or can whip you up something. In the past, I've just longer screws, washers and a straight piece of metal!

All our mounts use these same brackets..... If it's like the one in the link, you'll be fine with a piece of metal, drill a hole, long bolt and long washers, job done!

Bit of a faff with the mount, plus the rest of our spare mounts use the same arms! I tried it with 2, was too lop sided couldnt get the picture straight
DalekSec Posted October 3, 2016 Author Posted October 3, 2016 It is a BTEch one, went to their website looks like they are still using the same arms, but don't sell them by themselves according to the catalog. Looks like its drilling hole in metal time.
