Yes, I have. Usually beaten by ICT Direct, but we have had some particular machines which ICT Direct didn't stock (HP Pavilion X2) and they've been good. We used the warranty on one with no issues.

Well confusingly there appears to be two companies who go by the name Tier 1!

Once is a dutch company with a UK office and misco and BT business have quoted me using them - Tier1Asset - Leading refurbisher

The other (the one that Cazale mentions) is a Manchester based company - Refurbished Desktop PC and laptops - Buy a Cheap Second Hand Laptop UK, Tier1Online.com - IDNS are quoting me using these.

All companies will offer the same deal in regards to support (5 year, next day parts, etc.) which is great

To clarify.

There are indeed two companies using the name Tier 1. Back when brokerages were just starting out it was a matter of pride that certain brokers only dealt in Tier 1 manufacturers (Dell, HP, Lenovo) and not others such as fujitsu etc. A few companies still use Tier1 as a name but they aren't linked.

Tier1Asset are a decent sized European asset management company who move a stock in a similar way to us at 1st Tech, tier1online are a Manchester based company who deal in smaller quantities. Both buy from us from time to time.

I'll throw my hat into the ring as to why I think we're better suited for your business however.

With the other refurbishers you'll generally get a quote from someone like BT or IDNS who will broker out a 3rd party companies stock. When you deal with us you're dealing direct with the hardware broker. I sit opposite my purchasing team in the office and we can easily co-ordinate purchasing hundreds of machines for a quote right through to delivery. Same goes for warranties, you deal direct with us rather than calling up your account manager who then has to call through to their supplier who then have to generate an rma and send it back down the chain. When you call us you know that the person on the phone has the technical knowledge to troubleshoot any fault. And as we're the supplier we often have all the components here which usually makes it easy for us to get parts out to you. On the rare occasion we don't have parts we can easily work within our team to get them to you.

We want you to come back to us, so we try and make things as easy as possible :)
