Your best auto correct

It happens to us all, and sometimes it can be very funny.

 

We use a messaging system between our team, and in our general chat room there is regularly some awesome auto corrects.

 

The one that just made me laugh, I was talking about bitlocker, and it auto corrected to bootlicker, not the funniest but its pretty good.

 

Any you would care to share?

Not one I personally have done but I have seen many say that wellies changes to willies.

 

Think a few schools have had it happen to them when texting about bringing wellies into school as I seem to remember it posted by a friend on Facebook.

The original word you can guess but I can assure the world that Duck was not what I was meaning to type and neither did I want ducking!

An old phone of mine insisted that 'Brecon' isn't a word, so would constantly nag for it to be changed to 'Creamo'. What on Earth creamo is I don't know, but it may have snuck through in one or two messages:

 

I'm coming to creamo!

@Schoolcomms could do with adding wellies to their dictionary. We've had several near misses with asking parents to bring willies in!

I think I was texting something to the boss about a photographer, I must have mis-spelled it a little, but iOS then corrected it to 'hotdog rapper'!

I've got a mate who's name keeps being changed to 'Amos'

We had a all I.T. plea this week..... The user probably ( if she knows ) would have loved Contextual Auto-Correct

 

 

Dear Helpdesk, Please can somone reset my XYZ password as I seem to have licked myself out...

 

 

 

 

A week later you can still here bouts of spontaneous chuckling as people recall the message, Somehow it's also made it's way round the rest of the organisation...

Not quite an autocorrect, but I'm prone to spelling mistakes when trying to type quickly. The worst is when I (on a regular basis) shift the "o" of "account" one letter to the left...it'll get me into serious trouble one day!
