What the end game like? I held out on buying the game despite (maybe partially due to) uplay trying to shove it at me every time i launch R6:siege.

I heard that darkzone PVP it a tad stale right now. The risk vs reward doesn't make it too worth while?

I played the open beta and had fun with that, I did find myself getting bored with the darkzone after a weekend though.

Not hit end game yet, but I can say I'm finding the DZ anything but stale. Running around with a friend last night fighting any AI we could, lobbing nades at named bosses (the DZ isn't a walk in the park against elites/named AI) and going rouge just for the fun to see how long we could survive and if we could become non rogue again without being hunted down. I'm having a blast with it all in general.

from what i've seen and read it seems to be looking okay... gonna have to wait till April when i get paid (damn apprenticeship wage) to buy it, but i'm glad i've had to wait and see how it's all unfolded beforehand.

Seems to be getting a bit slated on steam reviews, but i tend to trust you guys more than randomers on steam lol.

It's a mixed bag. There are certainly glitches and networking issues with it, but you may be one of the lucky people (like me ;)) who aren't affected by them.

Combat is pretty fun, the missions are nicely designed and the world itself is pretty big so I haven't had a great deal to complain about. I haven't done a huge deal of PVP but what I have done in the DZ, I enjoyed.

Had my first foray into the Dark Zone yesterday. Good grief it's a challenge playing solo in there. Took to just tagging along and following random people around to give myself a fighting chance. The level 30 crates are definitely tempting enough to keep you around in there!

those lvl30 crates never have anything good in them :( same with the dark zone chests in my experience too, though I've got a few high end guns/etc in there from bosses :D

making good progress on my gearing so far though:

Made level 29 last night but also had problems with Server Mike on the Xbox - it kept dropping multilayer games for me. In the end I gave up and played some ESO PvP instead.

Same for me (PC version)... I got booted about 6 times in an hour, managed to get back on each time though so not much of a hassle. Also tried soloing dark zone and got hammered each time, still it was good fun.

Can confirm. DZ Level 30 chests contain purples and blues. Waste of time for gear, but worth opening for the crafting materials, which is really all I ever extract gear for anyway. The vast majority of the time, named mob drops are purple that aren't as good as mine (currently a mix of purple and gold) so I'm just going to farm Phoenix credits and buy blueprints to craft gear with.

get on this before it gets patched, if you have killed the boss guy and hit guards you are out of luck

Unfortunately killed the guards before realizing this could be done lol. I've done the guy by the railway a few times though.

130k dps?!?! I was pleased with 15!

I hit 30 today and I'm on 60k, I reckon there will be a big boost once I get my first orange gun though ;)

I'm currently lvl 27 with a 32k DPS. Is that low for my level? Your only 3 levels ahead and you've doubled my DPS

I think "low" is measured as a total of all your stats.. 32k DPS isn't low if your Stamina and Electronics are ridonkulously high. But 32k at level 27 is pretty decent if you're doing an 'all round' build.

I consider my 87k DPS as 'low' because I'm focussing on HP and Electronics. ATM my HP is ~70k and my Electronics is ~20k

Pretty reasonably stats, but once you start crafting L31 High-End items you'll see those stats shoot up :)

Edit: My stats are now 79,953 DPS, 100,246 Health, 15,689 Skill Power (952 Firearms, 3271 Stamina, 1451 Electronics), and the only non-High-End gear I have is my sidearm (M45A1 Pistol) and Holster.

Ideally I need to increase my Electronics stat back to 20k to get the best heal, since I'm going for a tank/drawing aggro build.

30 now, 100k dps.. Still no orange primary/secondary (i've got that high end pistol though) but I've got a bunch of yellow gear that has somehow made my secondary dps go crazy..

I still get rekd by most things though so.. ;)
