Arreks Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I've spent most of my time on Division today and yesterday (after doing the dailies) repeating the Lincoln Tunnel mission on challenging for 30 phoenix credits - it's the easiest mission for challenging mode and with a decent team with some tricks it takes 5-10 minutes
ZeroHour Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) I finally dicided to bite the bullet and buy this on pc. I bought it on uplay as the steam tax was just too high. It was so much cheaper to get a key for uplay rather than steam. Just level 7 right now but I will post my uplay name once I am on again. Edit: I think I am "alwaysZeroHour" on uplay Edited March 26, 2016 by ZeroHour
Priya_Shah Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Well last night, we spent 4 hours trying to complete the Russian Consulate Mission on Challenging, for the game to glitch at the very end and so we got nothing!!! We killed the boss, picked up the stuff, but the mission was still saying we needed to pick up the division tech to complete the mission!!! Not Happy!!!
Soulfish Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Also finally decided to stump up the cash for this . I'm "Soulfishy", but did end up getting the steam version as I just really don't like uPlay . Only level 6 at the moment though!
GuyJD Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I picked it up on Xbox on Saturday, Been running through it with me and the Mrs, up to level 10 so far.
JJonas Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 There are currently four missions, and each drops a unique skin. For the Lincoln Tunnel Checkpoint mission, defeating Finch gets you the Solid Teal skin. Finishing the Lexington Even Center mission and defeating Larae Barrett nets you the Solid Pink skin. Defeating Hornet at the end of the Russian Consulate mission earns you the Spray Stripes Red White & Blue skin. Finally, for the WarrenGate Power Plant mission, killing Keller will drop the Solid Electric Green skin. The Division – take a look at all weapon skins you can earn from Challenge missions

LiamHaith Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Looks like I need to kill Larae Barrett then... I have a desire for a bright pink (very OP) Black Market AK.
LiamHaith Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 My uPlay is "MysteryBloke" for anyone that wants to group up. I'm currently riding 150k DPS and 60k HP. Not amazing, but I can power through Hard modes and certainly hold my own in Challenges.
Domino Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 "DominoHayward" on uPlay. Currently trying to get to lvl 50 darkzone, at 42 currently. But am up for daily challenges too.

I've been totally neglecting the DZ so I could focus on farming credits (200k dps and 65k health now, but totally lacking in skillpower) - what's the quickest way to farm rank? PVE or going rogue and avoiding death?

PVE or going rogue and avoiding death? 1) Credits (normal credits) are useless at L30. The dark zone has its own currency (dark zone credits) which are used alongside phoenix credits to buy items from DZ vendors. High-end equipment is both purchased with and recalibrate by phoenix credits. The only thing regular credits are good for is spam-buying items from vendors to deconstruct when you're low on materials. 2) going rogue offers the best benefits, I think, but the chances of surviving might not be so great once there's a server-wide manhunt for you.

I meant I've been farming Phoenix Credits though I've been getting tonnes of normal credits too from dailies so bought the two current high end guns from the special vendor @ base. Hmm, probably best to just hunt down the named guys in the DZ then for rank.
Garacesh Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Ah, my bad. Basically, yes. Killing any PvE mob gets you DZ experience. I'm at L40 I think, could be 41. I don't think named guys give any more experience than non named guys so just kill whatever, unless you're wanting loot drops.

I don't think named guys give any more experience than non named guys so just kill whatever, unless you're wanting loot drops. Yep Yep, I normally do a route around DZ01-04 hitting up boss spawns and killing anything I see. As the guys I play with and me are getting stronger we occasionally venture into DZ05-06 if there's a couple of us, although be warned that is not for the faint of heart. Most of the named boss spawns have a DarkZone key chest by them too - I dunno what they've done to the pickup rates, but yesterday I got 3 high-ends from chests and 2 from Boss drops, totally crazy. As for rogues, unless you're in a strong group it's hard to last for long when your rogue level is above 3. And if you get to manhunt level on your own you're almost certainly doomed. You also get a tidy reward for killing rogues, so it's worth having a pop if you see one close by and don't have anything on you that you'd hate to lose. All in all I think Named Elite killing is a quicker levelling method (and less heart attack inducing too)

I don't bother venturing any lower than DZ05 (since we're usually there for loot) and my friends and I haven't encountered any trouble at all.
Domino Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Really? the first time we hit up Gambit at the music store up there we got our arses handed to us. Regardless, if it's xp you're after killing quicker will get you more....
JJonas Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 (edited) became aware of a couple of exploitable glitches this morning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v--mzs8cG_g&feature=youtu.be The last one is quite handy if you want to run around the world with a large group of friends, You could have two teams of four all in the same instance and send them off to do different challenge missions or send all of them into the same mission if you want to make it a bit easier. Garacesh Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Myself and @LiamHaith might have been abusing Lincoln Tunnel for a while the other day

Garacesh Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 You online tonight mate????? Might have to get you to show me Lincoln Tunnel! If you don't mind... You need a team of 4 to do it because you have to actually fight your way through the Challenge mode to the final boss. But if I'm on and we can get a few people together, I'll run you through it.

L3OUGH Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 I'll be on tonight so I'm down. There is 3 of us already! A 4th will be easy enough to find!
