@CAM not had any of those issues luckily but I did have trouble redeeming my rewards from the vendor! I'm enjoying it (I mean, it's not amazing but it's killing time).

I didn't have major issues, there was a queue for the indentity but got kicked, went back in and it all worked okay. After that I enjoyed it and managed to play, rarely saw other players but already know 3 others on it and did some group fun. Only other issue I had was they were already level 3 and I literally just did the identity and I was doing group stuff on hard...

Still a load of fun and as long as the content varies, it can be enjoyable. Only level 4 or 5 at the moment so best wait and see how it goes.

At level 5 also and I am liking it. Didn't have any issues anyone has mentioned either. Definitely overplayed Destiny and it is nice to have something new! Great that a few of my friends have bought it, makes life more interesting for sure. Back on again tonight! :)

I managed to squeeze in the intro and arrive at Manhattan. Only up to Lvl 3 at the moment. I imagine the next bit of the game is the same as the beta in terms of missions and plot. Looking forward to getting back in the dark zone to get some goodies. For some reason it wouldn't let me extract the kit I salvaged during the beta.

I'm having fun now it works. But I strongly recommend you hold off on it until Ubisoft sort themselves out as they have pulled some right clangers.

When launching you must not touch anything after clicking the shortcut or the graphics fail to start and you get nothing but sound and a black screen. When you try verify your identity in the tutorial you cannot interact with the terminal and players are actually queuing up to try and proceed. I only fixed it after logging out, installing display drivers and logging back in (WTF?). Talking of display drivers, the game performs best on the newest drivers but you must click Custom Install and select Clean Install or you risk entering BSOD hell (thanks NVidia).

And I know of at least one person who was told (after sitting in a 600 strong queue for support) that installing Division on a separate disk to Windows has caused UPlay to go up the wall and refuse to download the updates.

Fun game but would not recommend in it's current launch state. Give it a bit to settle first and save yourself lots of hassle!

to fix the black screen thing, just hit ALT + Enter and it will sort it, it didn't do this in the beta but its a work around that works

Keeping getting "Outside Playable Area" when I'm trying to go to places which teleports me back to the base.. but other than that I'm enjoying it!

Have to say this is possibly the most fun i have had in a game in ages!

All the best parts of Assassins Creed meets Watchdogs...

I am one of the fortunate ones who it appears to work for dispite having multiple drives a r9 290

its a shame i have not enough time :(

I am only a lvl 8 but my mate whos been off work is a lvl 16 still got to get to grips with crafting etc but its great... even the matchmaking works well!

Got up to Lvl 5 last night and just exploring and seeing which buildings I can scale. Some decent goodies hidden on rooftops in places. Also found a locked door but haven't found/bought/crafted any lockpicks yet.

Upgraded my mask to get into higher level contaminated areas to find even more goodies. Deciding whether it's better to sell excess kit or dismantle them for parts for crafting.

Still not ventured into the Dark Zone but there's only my brother who also has the game on my Xbox friends list and he's laid up at the moment, with the flu, no less.

Got to level 9 last night while teamed up with a friend. We then did my first foray into the Darkzone. Got dropped by a rogue who was just inside the entrance. We said not having that we went back in and managed to take him out. I levelled up to level six straight away and picked up a load of high level contaminated loot. My friend got his Darkzone keys. The rogue was not happy, he was even less happy when I left the Darkzone without extracting the contaminated loot.

I'm up to level 16 so far, mostly from just doing side missions and encounters but I've done the missions to unlock each wing. Enjoying it so far. Haven't ventured into the dark zone yet. Probably won't until I've completed the PvE bit, so I'm saving all my materials to craft higher level gear once I look at heading into the dark zone.

As for what to do with excess items @cherd84, I'd recommend deconstructing them. The PvE loot I've been getting is enough to keep me at reasonable-to-good survival.

Tip: Mob loot is based upon the level of the mob. Box loot is based upon your level.

Is the full game any better than the beta? I got bored of it very quickly seemed very repetitive so. Did not get as far as Level 8 so i could not play in the dark zone.

theres a lot more story content if thats what you're into?

the gameplay is essentially the same, though it feels like the difficulty is a lot higher in places, especially setting the big missions to hard

@Garacesh Cheers. May well do that. Do you know if you can use the stash boxes in the base for the raw materials? Or is that just for whole weapons, clothes, etc?

Raw materials, AFAIK, don't take up any inventory space. I certainly can't find them in my inventory and I haven't hit a limit on how many I can have yet.

Also worth noting, raw materials can be upgraded to the next tier 5:1 (so 5 greys makes 1 blue, etc) so you'll need to start stocking up to make purple gear. My presumption is that you won't be able to craft orange stuff.

Just hit level 30. 40 hours. Not too bad.

For anyone still slogging their way up the levels, you can hit level 30 without doing many of the story missions. I've only done, I think, four or five of the early ones. Enemy levels and loot drops scale during missions and encounters, so I'd personally advise doing all the encounters and side-missions to get to level 30, then do the story missions for lots of drops of L30 gear, which'll give you a nice little push into the Dark Zone.

The Division actually has its own in-built VOIP for groups and I have to admit, it's surprisingly very good. I expected it to be awful and to stick with using TeamSpeak like my friends and I do with DOTA but there's no need with The Division.

Once you start doing Challenge modes you'll realise just how necessary a marksman rifle is.. Level 32 Elites just do. Not. Die.

My gear is all Superior+ and as is my friend I've been playing with, and we still can't manage it!

My Ubi ID is the same as my forum name, if anyone wants to add me. Also I have Steam.

That morbidly satisfying head shot noise! I've kept carrying round various marksman rifles just for it. Should I be worried?

marksman rifle on a cleaners tanks = even better noise

You'll want some form of private VOIP for Dark Zone. As far as I can tell, it's actually area voice so anyone not in your group will also hear you. Soon as I hold PTT everyone in the area can hear what's being said. Great when people don't realise and you hear them plotting against your friends on the floor while you're sat on a rooftop over the street with an M44.
