haha, perhaps I should invest in one myself. People seem to take IT people more seriously when they are bearded (or bald). When I was unemployed I used to do the occasional IT housecall, and when I showed up, I could sense the "Is this a joke? has your daddy sent his son?" thoughts.

But then, if beardliness denoted wisdom, the philosopher would have to give way to the goat as the wisest of the creatures.
