Agreed. The last couple have been much more Trek than the first few. Now we have to wait until January for more. Blooming Americans and their holiday season stuff.

I thought there was one more episode before the winter break?

I'll bet it restarts on BETT week.

Bah!

I'll bring up with iPad with 4G and we can all sit and watch it at the stand at Pizza time (haven't actually thought about BETT yet this year)

Bah!

I'm planning on loading my ipad with about 10gb of data before coming down to bett.

Will also be able to get downloads at our snazzy flat i think as it promised super internet speeds :)

I'll start taking requests the week before we go!

So, did the initial story arc about the Klingons do something interesting? Is it worth watching?

It's not really over, though one major change has taken place and a strand that seemed to be going one way has gone off on an unexpected tangent. I'm enjoying it: the characters feel much more like people than is normal for Trek and it's visually stunning. That said, I think we're going to get an explanation for the inconsistencies with established canon that is going to be a bit annoying.

Just realised that the new guy who helped Lorca escape from the Klingon prison was Henry Jekyll in the late, lamented, "Penny Dreadful" and Clem Fandango in "Toast".

I thought he looked familiar. Great, now every time i see him I'll hear 'Hi, Steven? It's Clem Fandango, can you hear me?'

Has no-one watched Ep10 yet?

I thought Clem Fandango had severe Stockholm Syndrome, but am now revising that theory - though it was possibly more disturbing than what I now think is going on. I wonder if the show staff are prepared for the inevitable backlash over what happens to the doctor? (Though they're saying it's not what it seems).

I watched ep 9 & 10 on Monday. I think it's gone a bit too silly for my liking.
