I cannot find anything on My Account - but found a full release note on Scomis? Much of the requirements for Results Days need us to be on the Summer Release, but Capita don't appear to be answering? Any feedback gratefully received!

howartp Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 I'm doing it tonight against my better judgement - our exams team booked some live training on some PI stuff that needs the new version. The training happens to be my former boss, so although she can't reprimand me, it would be awkward to say the least! (We get on well!)
splattthecat Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 We released the upgrade to 3 schools (via SOLUS3) on Wednesday, and it upgraded at all 3 overnight successfully (SIMS, FMS and Discover). Releasing to the remaining schools over the next 4 working days, around 60 schools a night. One minor issue with Cover reported, but otherwise it has gone well so far. 1
SHimmer45 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 still swearing at a few machines which seem to take an an age to get the upgrade and then sit for another age while the workstation fix is applied and then SIMS is installed on the machine again. not impressed and has required more work than the old SOLUS 2. thats progress apparently. anyone lowered the deployment timings below 30mins as i have read the manual and this is the lowest setting possible?
Paul_Fielder Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 That might explain what I have been seeing, the agent knows an update is required but just sits there on some of our workstations and therfore did not upgrade on their own. I found re-image with fog and redeploy the agent much quicker option.
SHimmer45 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 watching the SOLUS ui its taking a little while for the agent to get the correct IP for the client (agent is set to 5 mins to poll the server) i dont want to lower it anymore as having 100 machine constantly polling isnt something i want. possible other issue would be DNS taking a while to get the correct IP from the client (assuming solus doesnt just get this information from the agent)
