Just went out and got a 10 pack of space invaders and they didnt last long.

Should probably get something a bit healthier.

Need some small snacks to keep my hands busy or just comfort food.

Got anything i can try?

No snacking here any more, except for on a Friday morning when our office buy things like Fruit Danish and the like.

Otherwise, I just have a bottle of flavoured water on the go all day.

tend to just eat my lunch,,

Then drink lots of water to feel full.

Looking for something just to keep me busy and not just moving pixels on a screen rather than full,

Guess something like grapes but not sure if there is a side affect of eating too many (emergency run to the loo)

Fruit and nut is good, have a issue that the bits get jammed into my teath and gums which is painful as i used to go through bags of it. About the right size though.

I eat yorkies when I get hungry at work - may 2-3 a week. If I have to resort to the vending machine the choc is 70p a bar :(

My previous job supplied a pack of biscuits each day for each department. I was a department of 1 but I still got my pack of biscuits (usually bourbons but sometimes jaffa cakes) which I happily munched through each and every day. After 18 months I was 2 stone heavier and I've never gotten rid of it.

Our Reprographics guy has a family member that works in the Monster Munch factory and therefore he gets loads of just going out of date packets...needless to say I try to resist the temptation to visit Reprographics!

I went a bit mad in Gobstoppers over half term and spent £66 on american import snacks, currently munching on some Peanut Butter Oreos and some Birthday Cake flavour Oreos. :p

I stick to juice and water now. I keep being tempted to get chocolate or something on the way in but resist, I'm trying to be better with my diet and it's going well so far and don't want to put it back for a small bar of chocolate.

I take a small tupperware box of sliced apple in... dunno why but I prefer it (and more willing to eat it!) than when it's just a whole apple.

9.30 banana

10.30 orange or grapefruit

12.00 ish - dinner (sandwich) with 2 oranges, an apple and yogurt

Drink: i have a litre of water during the day.

14.00 ish apple or orange

Sometimes i bring nuts to work to nibble on, beef jerky is a treat or bring sardines or a tinned fish or what they call "fat burners' or protiens. May have the odd few haribo like sweets if i need a sugar kick.

Have stopped eating crisps, used to have 2/3 bags a day.

If i have a cup of coffee or a bag of sweets i get a caffine/sugar rush really easily.

Sometimes too much fruit is bad for you, too many hidden sugars. The best thing is to "snack" 3 ~ 4 mini healthy meals a day, that way you dont feel hungry, motabalism increases and stay healthy :).

Be careful with nuts and seeds - you can easily creep up into very high fat and calorie levels with a fairly small portion. Great in moderation though.

You're best off looking at fruit IMO. Apples, pears, satsumas, bananas. Try to get small ones of each.

Make sure you have water. Can help just to have fluids to make you feel more 'full', and will certainly be good to have around - I know I get dehydrated during the day.

You are best off avoiding crisps and snacks like that entirely - they really won't do you any good. If you cut them out, you'll eventually find that you don't even like them any more - too salty, greasy or just rank.

I've almost polished off 3 litres and it's only half 1 >.< hahahah!!

Wow! You must be at the loo every hour or you work in a very hot office lol.

Actually not - I have been experimenting with drinking A LOT more water - supposed to plump up the skin and I need all the help I can get.

Amazingly I haven't noticed going to the loo any more often, even if I have a couple of big glasses of water just before I go to bed.
