Joanne Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 I've never played a PC game like this before, and because I'm not at a desk, it's tricky with the mouse... might have to sort something like a lap table. I surprised myself how quickly I adapted to using the keyboard. Mr Pete wasn't quite as smooth as me when running about, but I think when we get better the games should get more interesting. Currently I'm looting houses which are out of the way, so I don't die in the first minute!!

In general hugging the blue is a bad idea though, you wanna be reasonably in the middle of the play zone because then you're looking out and can pick off all the stragglers. Chasing the blue gets you picked off by the people who have already set up camp in the middle. But I still hug the blue in like, half my games Trying to get out of the habit though.

The circle also seems to favour ending up on the military island so you get people camping the bridge and it sucks when you're screwed by the RNG. Also don't worry about driving. @bald_pig flipped a boat. You can't get worse than that. (No Pig, I'm not going to let you live it down )

Admittedly I had a proud moment of escaping the military base alone in a jeep through a bombing zone XD

So tried to get the Steam Link working so I could stay near the oven. It was laggy as all hell. Input delay by at least a second. So then I spent time debugging that. Turns out it was dodgy GPU drivers. A clean install fixed it. So I should be good to go now!

I've never shied away from donating to McMillan for baked goods - I suspect you may be a little too far away for a quick trip though. Either way, back to gaming! Decided recently that I'll actually try and get a run through of Disgaea3. Turn based strategy ahoy!
