ZeroHour Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 If anyone is on three and doesn't have a use for an xbox game pass code they are giving away on Wuntuu this week can you possibly redeem it on wuntu and send me your code, it would be very useful for the kids. Run Wuntuu and it should have an "Get gaming with a free month" near the bottom, hit that and get a code (its huge) send me a pm with the code if possible thanks. It does put the code in your phone clipboard when you hit got to site if that helps though at least.

With the help of a couple of snow days - I've now broken Fallout 4 completely and made a good start on Agents of Mayhem.

Daren't say what bit i'm at for fear of spoilers to others. think im going to drop back in and do a completionist run if i ever finish with xenoblade 2 just started a new game plus file over the weekend so more random blades t catch on the plus side i already have 2 of them and 1 of the 3 is was missing previously but that lass skipped leg day for ever lol
DrPopkorne Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Found an amazing new Early Access game on Steam last night and got several of my mates interested too. Struggling with this Monday morning work now as I was up til 3am. Despite being an EA game there's enough content already for it to be a released game and I'm surprised it hasn't already with development continuing as is. It's called Deep Rock Galactic, which sounded pretty terrible to me however I later found this is the name of the mining corporation you work for. It has a sort of Left for Dead vibe with mining and resource collecting which you later use for upgrades and cosmetics. There's currently 4 classes and there are different game modes but the general gist is you deploy to a randomly-generated biome, travel deep into caves with your dwarf bros mining ores and minerals to deposit into your drone while fighting starship trooper like aliens and trying to survive the journey back to your drop pod so you can later cash in for upgrades. Occasionally swarms appear and you have to hunker down to survive the wave. The 4 classes are Gunner who has a big chaingun and heavy set of armour great for focusing on killing. He can also create ziplines for his team to use. Engineer has the ability to craft turrets and platforms for traversing, Digger has a flamethrower and a drill for quickly tunneling through rock/dirt and Scout can grappling hook himself to strategic positions, light up the way with flares and get to those harder to get ores. Definitely worth a look. 18.99 on Steam. Haven't encountered any bugs yet but have to say there are some complaints from players that if you are playing solo in some strangers team they have full power over kicking you at the moment rather than a preferred vote kick scenario.

Ended up maxing out Kawakami (Teacher) Ryuji Yoshida (Politician) Takemi (Doctor) and the ones you can't control obvs. Got 4 stars for my social stats except Charm which was full. With regards to a 2nd play through, how does that work regarding the maxed confidants? Do they all start at rank 1 again, but you just have their benefits from before? Going to seem weird especially with Kawakami....

Eg, maxing Mishima and getting his item will let you get all the abilities he offers when you unlock him as a Confidant in NG+, same with other confidants, but not ALL abilities will be unlocked. Christmas gifts also carry over, and allow you to raise the confidant rank for that person more quickly, eg. Ann's Earmuffs allow you to level her confidant tree more quickly. 2

Funny thing: Paying a huge amount of money to summon an overpowered Persona from the compendium, and using the top weapons makes combat a breeze. I think I managed to drop Kamoshida in about 2 hits.

I've never played it before (or any of the Dark Souls games for that matter) but it's meant to be very good. I picked it up last night and am looking forward to getting my teeth into it

Patrick Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 I have an injury so i can't train for a couple of weeks, which has led me to rediscover CS:Source all over again! Forgot how much fun it is, even the ridiculous death match servers and gun game matches! I'm surprised how busy servers are for a 14 year old game! My machine isn't up to playing the latest and greatest title, but CS:S seems to have aged quite well in terms of visuals.
