Lots of games have focussed there - Aya Brea's walk towards the tower at the start of Parasite Eve 2 has the camera pan down, Bayonetta has several shots... the list goes on.

here we go a bit excessive lol

Got Destiny DLC

Got PUBG, Played two rounds, first i fell off a cliff, second i got a nice LMG gun, but then died as I wasn't used to the huge recoil. (It's a lot different to Fortnite Battle Royale!)

Got Gang Beasts (Matchmaking issues yesterday, played it's wave mode, very good fun, although hard to get to grips with the controls, think it's an easy to play hard to master type thing)

Should be sorted over the xmas period!

My recommendation for xmas gaming is the jackbox party pack games, I played on xmas day with OH and her family, beats monopoly!

Platinum Number 87 with Assassin's Creed: Origins

Now back onto Doom & GTA5

lol 87 more than me (never seen one that looked attainable without making me hate the game (zero dawn was probably the closest but i hated the weapon challenges never mind golding them all) and p5 i dont have much of a life but if i havnt got them after 185 hours i doubt i ever will much as id like to replay the game i suspect i never will its just too long for that

spent all weekend (so friday evening through this morning) on xenoblade chronicles 2 and i dont think ive advanced the story much if at all just doing side quests / leveling etc

the random mechanic when summoning blades though is beginning to annoy me even legendary/rare cores more often than not result in some no name crappy blade i dont need /want. its also annoying when an enemy is so big it pushes you off the world when its almost dead

There's clearly something really wrong with the game if I can win....

It seems ok, laggy at the start, and the buildings "popping up" as you're falling is quite bad, but then I haven't played the PC version to compare it too. It's only been out less than a week and it's in testing so unsure what they were expecting from it right at the start.

Email from Gog about Titanic: Adventure out of Time being on sale.

It's one of my earliest memories of PC gaming (released in 1996!) and it's an absolutely fantastic game, blending tragic history with a thrilling fantasy*/mystery sub-plot that can get quite tricky if you're not paying attention. Very few hard-fail states, but there's a fair few subplots and it's possible to muck them up and render them incompletable which changes your ending slightly.

For four quid, I'd definitely recommend it.

* plausible fantasy - mixing in events and a mystery that probably didn't happen, not ray-guns-and-space-elves fantasy

Got a couple of bits over Xmas...

Battlefront 2 (seems Ok, can totally tell how biased it is towards premium content though...)

Bought Firewatch in the PS Sale (short game, but sucks you in to it's story very well)

Earned my second Chicken Dinner in PUBG, although the whole being unable to work out where you're being shot from is becoming infuriating, the last 5 times i've played I never fired a single meaningful shot, as hadn't seen anyone before being killed. Also keep getting kicked out of game due to it crashing a few times..

Enjoyed many a game of Gang Beasts, although servers are a bit hit and miss
