Got this yesterday. Now my four year old thinks it's okay to go around licking everything!!

In other news, I've finally spent a bit of time on Warhammer: Total War... It's brilliant! A fresh take on the series, a lot of fun to play and each race is suitably different to play. I can see it being a classic.

I tried Goat Simulator at the weekend, spent most of my time trying to ride the roller coaster and failing miserably.

You are the wind, man, blowing petals across the landscape to, like, bring it back to life and harmony.

Quite restful apart from the penultimate stage where you can get hurt by nasty electric pylons and the final stage where you have to destroy bad things. Ending doesn't make sense, but it's a pleasant enough casual time-waster.

I still need to find all the batteries and see what happens....

Watching Karl Franz lead a charge charge followed by his Reiksguard into a big mob of Orcs whilst your battle wizard uses lightning to keep the Goblin Spider riders at bay is a magnificent thing.

Characters are as powerful as they should be, the casual carnage caused to nearby units by two duelling generals is ridiculous.

I'll leave this here just in case... Buy Total War: WARHAMMER PC Game | Steam Download

Pfft, never mind that. Mannfred Von Carstein cackling like a maniac as an army of Terrorgheist swoop in and eat all the poor little dwarfies. Before summoning a zombie legion behind them as they try to flee and dire wolves just trot up from each side and rip everyone to pieces.

Not really completed, (as it's not really a game, but a physics engine with the silliness turned up to 11) - but I got the Platinum out of Goat Simulator.

I got overwatch for my boys at the weekend and finally got around to giving it a go myself last night.

I was going to do a big write up but to make it short:

  • Its a lot of fun.
  • I feel it would be better with a little more depth, either skills you can level up over multiple games or skills/items/bonuses you can earn in each game to give you a bit more variety. I would even by happy to have some characters locked until a certain level.
  • I have only played a few quick matches so not sure if there is a good ladder/ranking system but other than that there is no real reward for keeping playing. There are a bunch of cosmetic things to unlock but these are mostly made up of "spray tags" which feel like they were added at the last minute and poses for intro/victory screens which again seems like a move to "pad the rewards". The new skins are pretty cool and something you see while in game too but there are not that many of them.
  • It is expensive for what is honestly a small amount of game. I paid over £50 because my boys wanted it and they have console sharing going so it kind of works out at £25 each. I wouldn't have bought it for myself though.
  • It is a hell of a lot of fun. Really easy to pick up for 30 minutes, matches are fast and full of action. Would be a great game to play with friends.

Lost my Battlefield V last night. BAttleifeld 4 with all DLC is going for £12 on PSN atm, enjoying it so far, seems to play campaign much better then COD, then again, only done the first mission.

Finally finished Witcher 3... well the story, at least.

I still have a million billion side quests to do and places to explore...
