clareq Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 We rotate wallpapers - a different one each day, each with various motivational quotes, or calendar specific - Remembrance Day, Christmas etc. They are served from a server with a simple batch file to rename them every night, so \\server\share\school.bmp is different every day.

On this layer, set whatever generic background colour, pattern, gradient or design you like on this layer. Be aware, bits of this might be lost in step 4. 2) Then take the lowest resolution you may want it to work with (for example, netbooks) and create a guide box / frame that is semi transparent that size, that is centred on the centre point of the main image on a different layer. 3) Add another layer, and use the guide created in step 3 to create whatever you want to be visible on all screens in this box. When done, hide the guide layer and export image. 4) When setting the wallpaper in GPO, set it to be centered rather than stretched or tilled. Always worked for me doing it this way.
