nathan Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Hi, Just wondering who people use for supplying their EES Subscriptions? I'm currently using Pugh and wondered if anyone elses prices were better?
synaesthesia Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 There's very little difference between suppliers we find. We're however very happy with Phoenix who's support and advice has been invaluable, especially concerning licensing. It's a minefield at the best of times. Separately though, I've also had extremely good advice from RM recently regarding licensing for one of my primaries.
sparkeh Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I've found @Millgate to be invaluable with dealing with EES, after dealing with a few companies who didn't really understand EES, they really made things clear. 1
synaesthesia Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 They do, but try getting useful information out of them... I'd say it's like getting blood from a stone, but in this case the stone is really driftwood...
VeryPC_Ed Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Hi, Just wondering who people use for supplying their EES Subscriptions? I'm currently using Pugh and wondered if anyone elses prices were better? Hi Nathan, We also do EES licensing so if you want another quote, feel free to PM me what you need. Again as others have said, pricing is one thing but making sure you are licensed correctly is a big one !! Thanks, Ed
TechMonkey Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I would say get a couple of quotes. We had quite a difference between quotes last time we got them done. One company was very thorough though to makes sure they got the right things, and was the cheaper. Millgate I remember being very good. 1
nathan Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 Thanks everyone, will get a few more quotes from those recommended.
Iain.Faulkner Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 We go through Viglen, during the last quote process they were by far the cheapest (I've used them for licensing now for 7 years and nobody can get near to them).
FragglePete Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Just to add a few to your list that I've used in the past: CSE Centerprise Kelway Pete
pauldredge Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 We offer EES agreements for schools and are very competitive on our prices.
fiza Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I always get a number of quotes but for the last 3 years Luke @Millgate has consistently given the best pricing. Also Kate is spot on with any questions I have had regarding licencing. 1
SteveB_NI Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Our volume license agreement was from PC World Business / Equanet, but now I need to renew / restart it I have no idea who is best to contact for advice. Can any reseller renew / restart a volume licence agreement, or does it have to be anyone specific?
mrbios Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Phoenix, greymatter, novatech all did our 3 quotes last year, can't remember which one we purchased from though, i think it i might have been phoenix.
Oaktech Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I've used Pugh, BT Business, Capita and Millgate. Stopped using Capita because they were more expensive than anyone else and hard to deal with. No real issues with Pugh, but you know when you just don't really get on with someone, yeah? That. My last place uses BT Business and I now use Millgate, basically because Kate is a God among licensing mortals and helped me sort out the hash I was left with. 1
