As previously mentioned 10 pages or so ago, I have a private TS3 server that is more or less always online if anyone ever wants to use it. :p

Alright, I'm on and in the EduGeek chat channel. :D

Currently on route to 4B-NQN... 61 players active in the last 30 minutes. Hopefully someone is still there... or even better a little war I can poke people in and run away >:D

Radeon HD 6700 series.

Still doubt it'll take to EVE too well once the pew-pew begins.

A) Depends how many pew-pews there are involved.

B) You never know until you try it. :p

Turn all the settings down and all the effects off. I used to play on a laptop with built in graphics, it worked reasonably well that way and at least let me play.

Currently sat at the gate to G-5EN2... I've just seen about 20 people warp through the gate I'm sat at... I'm too scared to go through.

Oh. My. Days... that was intense.

I warped through the gate and was IMMEDIATELY scrambled with no escape. 9 Enemy Spacecraft. I fired shots but I'm not even sure if I hit - before I knew it.. I was just a capsule...

I did not survive.

That stuff is fun!

Now I need a cuppa, my heart couldn't handle that.

Did they even make their ammo costs back?

Ammo is only cheap though right? I think my ammo costs me a few hundred per shot... they only fired at most 10 :p

EVE is the best representation of war ever made. Enormous stretches of boredom and time-wasting punctuated by moments of incredible adrenaline.

Ain't nothing else like it.

RIP @LiamHaith.

I don't know why you jumped through that gate :p Looking for a fight is one thing but dear lord do it at reasonable odds, man! xD

I'll say to you what I said to @localzuk - "Onwards, to death!" Now that I've died I'm no longer scared of it. I fired a few missiles before I died. I'd like to think that I almost killed all 9 of them. Though realistically, my own missiles probably killed me.

That's the spirit! 1v1 you'd have rekt every single one of them. That's why they all had to gang up on you. If they'd have formed an orderly queue you'd have lots of plunder by now :D

I salute your bravery o7

I wish I had lots of plunder. I did my first exploration anomoly yesterday... fought off about 15 drones in a 0.5 sec... almost died multiple times but came out victories... absolutely no loot. Fairly sure I missed something but that was a fun fight in my little dinky 34k ISK Exploration ship...

Safe to say I was not amused and very exhausted after the intense battle.

If you fit a salvager module, you can salvage the wrecks.

Also there are salvage drones which do the same thing as well.

The salvage, you can sell and it can net you some nice ISK's.

Salvage is where all the money is. Do a mission, bookmark one of the wrecks, come back in a destroyer with salvager mods fitted in all 8 highs and cargo expansion in all the low slots, reap it all and sell for much ISK. You make about 10x more out of missions with salvage than you do without (at least, you did five years ago...)

You have to do it within two hours, I think, before the instance is destroyed, but that's plenty of time. Bookmark each stage of a multi-stage mission if necessary.

4 Salvagers and 4 Tractor beams for less flying around. You've got around 2 hours before the wrecks despawn, the actual instance they were in is removed when the mission is handed in but the wrecks stay in space till they despawn.

EXACTLY. ONE MILLION ISK. Saying this, since I bought my Navy Issue Drake (200m) I have a Corax that has no fittings/use anymore... I guess I could make that a salvage vessel.

I didn't make my money by spending recklessly... I save every single ISK I can find, and that includes picking up all manners of trash. Then I spend as little as possible.

EDIT: Just realized that made it sound as though I use my Drake.. I don't. It sits in my Hangar in Malukker 1.0 and looks pretty though...

I bought a Navy Raven as soon as I could quite a few years back - I was entirely underskilled for a raven but bought the most expensive option. The way I see it, if you go on the ship's mastery page and you aren't fully skilled to AT LEAST lvl 2 mastery then don't use the ship. I could barely run missions with it so it was worthless but I kept it because it was pretty - in reality I could've and should've used that money to completely T2/faction up a battlecruiser.

What I'm trying to say is that you should focus on getting very good in the smaller ships before you move onto bigger ships, Drake's can be very good ships but if you're not skilled well to use them they'll pop quickly and it's a lot of ISK wasted.
