I saw this exact thing on their forums today. T'was hilarious. Still, was embarassing not having the skills to run their "Newbee Frigate Rig"... What kind of noob ships use a FULL T2 LOADOUT?!

It depends on the t2 modules, guns are hard to fit since you need regular skills to 5 then learn the specialization skills, But some modules aren't too bad with the fittings. Are you still based in empire?

And so the life cycle continues! it's a good thing the Jove gave us the technology for pods, aye? Also, 31 pages of EVE awesomeness, check it! I still wish EVE was more accessible for new players, though (been saying it since I started but doesn't make it any less true).

Just don't do what I did when I first tried, went through 4 wormholes in succession but didn't bookmark the exits/entrances I took.. oops! spent an hour trying to get back to high sec!

This is the most important habit to get into when exploring. You either learn quickly or end up with a lot of practice of your probing skills (not so big a deal anymore since they simplified the system with formations but still useful). I haven't played in a few days due to other stuff going on and now I've got to try to split my time between Eve and Skyrim, not sure which will win out.

LiamHaith Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Pretty darned well. We went out with 24ish folks. Ended up killing a fully rigged Jackdaw for 170m. Got in a huge engagement, died horribly. Then because these guys keep showering me with ISK (They've given me almost 1b so far) that I don't want. I pay for the fleets losses using that money. Leading another tonight, people really want me to lead a moa fleet out to Blind Faith.

LiamHaith Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Blind Faith is great for me since I don't know where "real" fights are. So there's always alot of traffic there. Station games/Bubble/Gate camps are fun.

LiamH Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 We went on quite a long roam last night, only thing we managed to kill was a tengu that aggressed our fc's interceptor on our way home just as we were about to take a bridge. We were surprised afterwards because he wasn't fit to take down a small ship and was hauling a ton of blueprints. Must have thought it would be a quick and easy kill but he must have been shocked when a load of caracals landed on grid.

He is in a Goonfleet corp and I am in The Bastion so we are both part of the Imperium (formally known as the CFC). My corp doesn't do any wormhole stuff other than using them to quickly roam from once side of the galaxy to the other. BTW some money can be made probing out routes like that.
