Though I have to say I'm one for the LED lights and jazzy stuff that comes with the likes of Alienware or MSI's gaming Laptops. I'm considering buying a gaming laptop again but only because now there are such things like the graphics amplifier which allow you to run a Desktop grade GPU on a laptop. Though since work have given me a Apple MacBook Pro 15" with a 750m GPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD and an i7 and at home I have a desktop gaming rig already that has a i7, GTX770, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD I'm struggling to find an excuse to buy me a gaming laptop.... Someone please help me find an excuse

AlfaTech Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) This laptop has a backlit keyboard too (but it's white not red)... oh well given the extra time and upgraded hardware I think I'll have a blast through on GTA IV and see what it was meant to look and play like. Theblacksheep Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Got it on PS3 and PS4, completed it on both and played a bit of online, GF still plays online but even by her own admittance "once you get past the large pretty world it's a pretty shallow game". If it does make April most people who buy it on PC will have completed it and be won't be playing it, unless heists breaths some life into it. I thought R* would do better at scheduling it, keep pushing it back by one month at a time (several times) is poor management.

Once upon a time probably, nowadays they make the game and then hire another company to handle the port over to PC.

Yeah but then companies got lazy and used it as a Marketing technique more than anything. It's a big shame but to be honest I don't mind waiting a little longer for a better gameplay experience and better graphic capabilities, but when they start taking more than a year to finish it all it just gets annoying. Set a date and stick to it I say!!!! I haven't played my PC in a while been all about the Wii U at the moment & that keeps me happy for hours, since Rust went carp I've struggled to find another PC game that really keeps me hooked and I'm tending just to dip in and out of AAA titles.

Dunno about other companies, but Rockstar stopped releasing at the same time due to piracy, last game they did that with was Max Payne 3 and apparently they lost a chunk of sales to piracy on PC. By delaying the PC release, they hope people will buy on console rather than wait. Plus side for them, console games are more expensive.. positive for PC gamers though, consoles are essentially beta testers for us. As for developing at the same time, they probably split resources between maintaining one platform while touching up the other platform releases, plus with GTA V they had the next gen push as well. As for it being pushed back again, I'm assuming they hit a few extra snags that needed to be ironed out in Heists.. they announced that Heists would be out a few weeks before PC IIRC, so they may have pushed back to at least keep that part of the timeline pretty. All ideas and speculation of course, not too fussed myself I've got it on 360/PS4 and will get PC, so a delay doesn't particularly bother me

Haha thats like waiting at a red light (in your smashed to hell truck as you rammed 14 cars into a fireball) and then cars smashing into you as they are like "Why u not breaking law dude :/"
