Hi all,

Hoping someone can help. I have 15 desktop pc's (Dell Precision 390) with no operating systems installed & was wondering if there is any solution in being able to install Windows 7 on all of them, through a free cloning software package that has been tried & tested.

Many Thanks

For 20 odd machines once I used Macrium, the machines were special build for a networking LAB, not on the domain or connected to the production network.

Just take a presysprep clone, sysprep and then clone and test to another machine.

Macrium ran from CD and then had the images on a few USB's.

+1 for MDT, different way to working and although may take a small amount setup and testing it saves buckets of time. No need to do a separate image just for different hardware, build the image in a virtual environment and at deployment do BIOS queries to install the right drivers.

+2 for MDT/WDS

Its not software, but Ive just installed an IT suite by building one computer with software then I copied the hard drive via a hard drive copying machine.

Would take a bit longer then software but it worked
