It started to slow down around 10am and eventually stopped altogether by 11am. I had to restart our firewall/router for the first time since it was installed in March last year. All seems fine again now though. We are with Exa Networks - what about you?

Oaktech Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 SWGfL are currently having major issues with their proxy farm. Our internet connection is up and down like a whor... you get the idea. RM Education Status confirms there is an issue, but is non committal on any further details. 2
Boredguy Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Thank goodness I'm not at work today, otherwise I'd have to put up with the complaints that the internet was slow. There has been a few DDOS attacks this week against the SWGfL. It can be quite annoying.

Got (another) call open regarding our slow/intermittent connection, but it's a repeat of the last one trying to run speedtests to prove a problem... Spoken to other local schools who are seeing similar issues to us, but how wide does it go? Appreciate there was another DDOS the other day, but it's generally pretty unreliable at moment although fine this morning!

We had a few times where it just drops out. but fine the next minute. Transparent is just useless.
Boredguy Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Monday morning we had issues with the transparent proxy on a couple of devices, but that cleared up once I installed the Safetynet certificate onto them (and I'm still waiting for support to call me back with information about transparent & SSL google filtering!!) The RSS feed said there was a DOSS, but there was nothing on the text alerts.

Oaktech Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I had timeout issues with RM Integris yesterday which seemed to be solved by putting people onto the kids proxy, no-one else seemed to notice any slowness, just the people using integris!
kennysarmy Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Been having intermittent browsing problems for a week now. Some pages time-out, others just noticeably slow... Sometimes one site will be fine but another will be slow......
newpersn Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 I still have the pupils on proxy feed (non SSL Filter) and we are having problems. We get random computers that don't like going on the internet. Next minute there fine. 1
