timmehpb Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I'm the same. New Open Value Subscription agreement this year. As part of that we have Server Datacentre 2012 R2, but no KMS key issued with it - only MAK. I've tried calling them and they say they are going to add the KMS key to my portal today sometime - but I'm not that hopeful. Does anyone actually know if this KMS key is along the same lines at the KMS keys in the past? With it being a Server Group C which can activate Windows VL products?
MYK-IT Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Anybody lost all of their SA things from their VLSC? Logged in and apparently I can't download Windows 8 etc - but I can still get the keys? Think I'll give them a ring but ffs.. Yes, noticed same problem here. Can access the activation keys OK (Windows 7,8, 10 etc) but only Windows 7 (not 8 & upwards) being listed and available to download.

Iv just spoken with Microsoft 0344 800 2400 (option 4) Looks like they are working on it, they hope missing downloads and keys will be back soon! Windows 10 will be available from the VLC from the 1st! 1
Arthur Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 The KMS host key is showing up for some people on VLSC. The key you need is for Windows Srv 2012R2 DataCtr/Std KMS for Windows 10.
Max_Power Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Sorry to bump an old thread. But has anyone managed to get their KMS sorted lately via the phone? Seem to be constantly going round and round in circles, with no one knowing what they are doing on the other end of the phone, very frustrating, been trying since Monday. Are you able to email similar to the way you can email [email protected] for your MAK to be increased?

Try @DJ-1701's suggestion here... www.edugeek.net/forums/enterprise-software/173355-rant-microsoft-call-centre.html#post1487158 2
Max_Power Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Cheers @Arthur, and cheers @DJ-1701 - fired off an email, will keep trying to phone just in case on the off chance someone answers the phone and knows what they are doing. Also like @ChrisH suggestion of having stress toys on standby 1
LeMarchand Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 (edited) Are you able to email similar to the way you can email [email protected] for your MAK to be increased? kmsadd@ I am an Open Customer and do not see my KMS (Key Management Service) key displayed on VLSC. How can I get it?KMS keys are no longer pre-assigned to Open agreements as use of Multiple Activation Keys (MAK) is the preferred method for activation. If you are an Open Customer and need a KMS key, please request one by either calling the Activation Center or emailing the KMSADD alias with your business needs. Please be advised that whoever places the request must be an administrator or have a key viewer permissions on the VLSC for the Volume Licensing agreement. For more information about activation thresholds, see the Volume Activation Planning Guide. D'oh! Refreshed the page; didn't notice there was now a third page. Edited August 2, 2017 by LeMarchand
fiza Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 Sorry for resurrecting this old thread but I just tried to use [email protected] to ask for a key to be added but the email bounced back. I have used it before last year and it worked fine then. Does anyone know the correct email address now for these requests?
FragglePete Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I believe you have to do it via a Web Form now. UK one is: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/supportrequestform/2afa6f15-b710-db46-909a-8346017c802f?sl=en-gb&sc=GB (others: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/licensing/contact-us) Pete 1
