Popular Post arwen Posted November 21, 2016 Popular Post Posted November 21, 2016 After seeing these excellent looking spider webs this morning on my way into work, I went for a little walk during my lunch break. I was then greeted by this idiot on my return And watched another fantastic sunset from my office window... Today has been a good day :-) 6

HarryMonkey Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 For those who, like me, are not over familiar with photoshop, I came across this yesterday and it looks quite useful. He has a whole load of videos covering many aspects of photoshop and lightroom.

MrMat Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 I did a selfie! Feel like a prat infront of the camera but ahh well. Quite pleased with the result for a first real attempt at a composite! enjay Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 @kennysarmy I love the vibrancy of some of colours in the street shot. Is that photo enhanced or as taken? If it is as-camera, I'm jealous of your camera!

Depending what camera you have, you can change the settings in camera for the various elements, with Nikon you can get Standard, Vivid etc. However I shoot in RAW always so everything is Post production.
enjay Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Depending what camera you have, you can change the settings in camera for the various elements, with Nikon you can get Standard, Vivid etc.. I sometimes find those settings introduce a lot of corruption and i have to reset the white balance in the edit afterwards. I do find the light level setting useful though, where you can tell the camera it is a cloudy day or you're under strip lighting.

If it is as-camera, I'm jealous of your camera! It was shot in RAW format and edited in Adobe Photoshop Camera RAW editor for Windows. All sharpness, vibrancy etc in camera were set to standard. It's all in the Exif data of the image which you can get from Flickr.

The football shot was with my little compact, a SONY RX100m3 - a very very fine camera. As said I always shoot in RAW so I can tweak the white balance, exposure and colour settings before I do any final post processing in CS6. 1

korifugi Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 (edited) Excuse the phone camera image - but had an unusual visitor trying to make his(?) way into the building this morning. Thing is - we don't even use his(?) VLE any more. EDIT: Also - don't worry as he(?)'s been moved out of the way of the kids Edited December 14, 2016 by korifugi 1
