Ever read World War Z? We are currently in the first few chapters. Everyone's in denial and international borders are still open.

At least being in America now i have a fighting chance! *Goes buy an assault rifle*

On a serious note though, at least they are taking measures, but since people can be infectious without any symptoms, the airport screening seems a bit silly.

Worried yet?

I'm worried that my plans for a US road-trip next year will be ruined by over-reaction bourne of bigotry and ignorance. I'm not worried for my own personal safety, yet.

Crossbow, poncho and a big ass motorcycle is all you need.

That's just theatre - a big visual thing to reassure people.

Here's a fascinating interview with the guy who discovered Ebola. The huge risk with this virus is that it evolves to have a much longer incubation time.

I'm not that worried to be honest, Island nation after all. I am of course assuming the Gov. will act in swiftly if things do start to become out of hand in America/Europe, but it's still early days yet.

Phages work with viruses antibiotics work with bacteria. I am not aware of phage therapy for use in treating Ebola.

Zmapp is a combination of three different type of antibodies produced by the body for fighting Ebola.

Shut the borders, kill it, open borders again.

I heard on the radio this morning that the US nurse who was/is infected was allowed to travel on a commercial airline the day after telling her bosses that she had a temperature and didnt feel right. Theres another 200 people who could be infected just wandering around!

I have purchased some high powered rifles, got plenty of tinned food, boarded up the windows and set booby traps. Yeah, you may think I look silly now but just wait until you are all chewing on each others arms!
