UniFi is just pseudo managed wireless. Ruckus is in a different league. Take a look at this wireless report, think it speaks volumes regarding UniFi performance. http://www.wlanpros.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Wi-Fi-Stress-Test-Report-Overview1.pdf Having used both in large schools I can state that Ruckus should be top of your list. Under my use the most I could get from a UniFi Pro was 150Mbps Same laptop on a Ruckus system and I got full 300Mbps Under stress a UniFi AP gave up serving clients after 15 connections, the Ruckus AP would have 32+ and worked flawlessly. Also it has to be said just because a school is a Primary it has to use basic low rent tech. Most Primaries I have seen are doing far more interesting things with tech than any Secondary.

If there was a standard OS for TVs that every manufacturer used you can be damn sure that Sony would still do their own thing. Amazing how people can spend £1K on a piece of tech without researching it first and then complain it doesn't do what they want.

9yo son, also an outstanding school. Reading and spellings every night. Weekly comprehension task based on the book they are reading. Weekly numeracy task and termly project based on the class topic for that term. The school is Outstanding for a reason, they want the best from their children. Too many parents expect the school to do it all. In fairness their children are at school for 7 hours of the day and they need to take an interest and a responsibility in their child's learning. All anicdotal I'll admit but it's normally they same parents who complain about home work that are the first ones to take a pop at a teacher when little johnny doesn't get the SATS results they wanted.
