genesis Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Hi Guys I have been asked to implement remote access for staff and students to access their home drive from their home. Firstly Student must be able to access the home drive with the same username and password they use in the school to log into the network. Secondly the teaching staff be able to access their home drives and another shared drive with the same username and password they use in the school to log into the network. Please suggest any technologies if anyone have done this type of setup. Thanks

DMcCoy Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) How are people licensing their HAP+ and other solutions for students? With the student option for everyone in OVS? If you authenticate via AD, then you are going to need a CAL, same for BYOD etc (or get an IP!) Just curious as when I last did such things it was still only schools agreement available so I had a couple of external connector licenses for the relevant servers.
