Novalee Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 ...to say we have lots of snow! (Yes, I sound like one of the students but I love the snow!)
rickjames Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 We have no snow in London. There will be no snow in London. Continue.
bladedanny Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Here, it's been raining. It turned to snow for about 10 minutes. Then back to rain.
john Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Indeed no snow in London Then again given the Tube Strike for the next few days we don't really want snow as busses don't seem to enjoy the snow here in London so no-one will go anywhere!
Danp Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Slight snow here, only a 1/10 given on the #uksnow. A lot of water here, not quite SW standards, but I did make the mistake of going the wrong route yesterday when my normal route was closed, took me 2h30m for what is normally a 20-25 min drive
Novalee Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 I imagine it'll stop soon. Hopefully not before the rumour of a snow day tomorrow is leaked to the kids though... muahaha!
nyiss Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 please keep your snow since you are enjoying it so much. I don't fancy snow here, driving to work on 2 wheels is a bit miserable in rain let alone snow Unless of course there is snow day!!
X-13 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 waaahhh All your snow are belong to us. [i want a snow day...]
VeryPC Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Pouring down with rain in Sheffield. Our MD's @VeryPC_Andy's train from Liverpool wouldn't even come all the way to Sheffield (presumably flooding of the tracks)! We had to go pick him up from Chesterfield. Al
Garacesh Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 No snow here. It's pretty clear though. Forecast was rain (this morning), then clear, then snow, so we may just get it yet!
Tesla Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 i was sure i saw snow earlier, but was thinking i was imagining it...snowjoke.
pcstru Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Here there is a strange orange disc in the sky. Is it an alien flying saucer? They have turned patches of the sky blue, perhaps in an effort to communicate. Very curious.
Bromcom_John Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 This got me wondering.. how much "more" damage would all the flood water do if it actually froze...???? Doesn't really bear thinking about.

Al Tut, it not even go as far as woodhouse?
unixman_again Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 We've had it all in the Black Country today. When I came into work it was windy, then it started heaving down with rain, next a bit of snow and now the sun is streaming though the window, so brightly that I can't read the monitor.
