A work colleague and myself have just been having a discussion of what superpower you would class as the most pointless and i thought i would put it to all you wonderful people out there to chime in your opinions and thoughts.

To give you all an example and catch you all up i suggested the power of being able to turn water to sherbert but only on contact and my colleague suggested being able to move objects 2 feet to the left but only if their mass doesnt exceed 6 square inches

Let the debate begin

I'd say converting wine to water was not only more pointless, but already possessed by all of humanity.

I'd say... being able to see into the future. But only by 30 seconds, and only for an elderly gentleman named William who lives in Manchester and is completely unrelated to you in every way. He doesn't even own a mobile phone.

The ability to know, with certainty, when nobody needs your help.

The ability to know, with certainty, when somebody needs to poop.

The power to walk through walls but fall through floors Or to be able to walk through walls but your pinky toe cant so you stub it every time

Have the ability to irreversibly turn yourself into an inanimate object

The supernatural ability to detect ham at any distance.

I'm not seeing that as pointless! Think of the possibilities!!

Facial Hair Man turns up to a bank robbery in progress.

"Stop you villianous scum" says FHM

"Says who? Ya wierdo." yell the robbers

With a gleam in his eye, a smirk on his face and a flick of his hand, FHM causes all the robbers to suddenly grow 5 day beards.

"Ahhh, ahh, the itchiness, WTF is going on" the robbers squeal, dropping weapons and money bags to attempt to cure the itch that can never be sated.

The robbers turn on FHM. "Get him boys!!"

But as each robber try to take on hirsute hero their beards explode, tripping, tangling and in one case mildly strangling the attackers.

The police finally arrive on the scene to find 5 robbers shackled together by their own beards.

The world is once again a safer place.
