I've got a Windows 8 laptop at home downloading/updating now but not showing on work devices - probably the issue outlined above

but the server version is only any use if you also have a 2012r2 key grr so i suspect i will have to move kms to a 8.1vm

For those of you that cannot see the update in the store if you type wsreset in Run, this resets the store cache and then the update should display

I think the whole world is downloading Windows 8.1 - internet is sooo slow on everything! Even iTunes! (So maybe West coast of USA has been hit hard)

Mine installed and said it needed a reboot. Hit OK and it's not come back up yet! That was 20 minutes ago too!!!

Mine downloaded from the Store and installed in just over an hour. Must have been lucky!

Mines now download and installed from the store too. My machine came back online after 30 minutes or so, however my RTO software seems to have bee broken by the update as I can see my PC but cannot connect to it! Edited October 17, 2013 by Rawns
