Netwacky87 Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Their Twitter: "Yes, we know about the sign. We took it down as soon as it was spotted - but not before the photo was taken #redfacesallround" How did anyone not spot it?!....
Chris_ Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 We've recently had all our big school signs re-done with a pretty big mistake on them that nobody had noticed until I pointed it out
kernewek-sam Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 We've recently had all our big school signs re-done with a pretty big mistake on them that nobody had noticed until I pointed it out Were you at least thanked or quietly told to keep it to yourself?
Ephelyon Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I'm sure I must be missing something here. 'Excellent' surely refers to the fact that that's the ISI term for the top grade, so 'every category' means each category inspected by the ISI... but the Early Years provision would've been inspected separately by Ofsted and their term for the same is 'Outstanding'... so it's not really all that wrong is it? Apologies if I'm missing the point but it's 2am...

CAM Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Reminds me of an old news article I did years ago... EduGeek.net - South Bend School Advertising Goes South
AMLinington Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 LOL We received a prospectus through the door for our local (abysmal) comprehensive - I've read this years OFSTED report and the school is on the verge of being put into special measures. OFSTED pointed out that the quality of teaching was poor and pupils did not attain the expected rate of progress etc etc. Funnily enough there are some huge spelling errors on the prospectus: It is littered with OFSTED quotes from old inspections saying how good the school is and how much improvement has been made - none of it comes from this years inspection report LOL. Would it be cruel to go to the open evening on Thursday and ask them about it? ha ha haaa
witch Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Would it be cruel to go to the open evening on Thursday and ask them about it? ha ha haaa Not at all - in fact I think you should take the local press
