Edu-IT Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Wonder if there's anything to get Theme Park World working? I love that game!
LiamH Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I tried playing it again fairly recently. It was harder than I remembered! I did enjoy most of the old Bullfrog games, re-completed Dungeon Keeper the other day
L3OUGH Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I've never played it properly, heard about it and had a quick play on a friends system while he was playing it. Is it a 'pay to play' game or can I obtain it for free now!?
CAM Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 The game hits it's peak when a stomach bug spreads round the hospital and chaos ensues. I loved this game so much and have an original disk at hand, any tips for getting it working on Win 8?

Dosbox might be your best bet DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS Edit : Or try this https://code.google.com/p/corsix-th/wiki/GettingStarted Edited June 24, 2013 by LiamH

john Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Amazing game been using via the Corsix TH for a long time its a great tool
Novalee Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I love that game - I wish someone would tidy it up a bit and re-release it for newer machines. You know, not to change it in anyway, but make it playable. I saw a similar game once, can't remember it's name, but it was awful. Might dig out my game later!!
Garacesh Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Dungeon Keeper is certainly a gem too. Bullfrog, u no make games anymore? D: Stupid shutting downs. Grumble.
DanielRF Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 There is a remake of Dungeon Keeper being developed through a kickstarter. https://wftogame.com/
SovietRussia Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I downloaded a version of Theme Hospital that someone had re-written for HTML5, it was pretty cool as I loved played the original
CAM Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Some of the humour was very dark too. Tongue Slicer, Inflatable Head and the kingpin....Auto-Autopsy!
googlemad Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I found a copy of this game floating around on one of my old hard drives the other week and have been playing it since (Works on Windows 10 with no issues surprisingly whatever version I have!) After struggling with Level 7 I managed to get my hospital in Level 8 up to a perfect 1000 reputation somehow! Level 9 I survived by the skin of my teeth even though I accidentally purchased all the extra hospital property even though I didn't need more than a few extra bits (The handymen in this game are annoying they just wander around all the empty bits if you let them!) The earthquakes are annoying as if they destroy your kit you can't do anything with the rooms, not even delete them and start again which can get a bit tricky, the epidemics are also harsh sometimes but once you're established with a bit of cash and reputation they don't hurt too much if you choose just to take the fine rather than try to solve them In fact on Saturday I started playing at 9pm and ended up going to bed at 7am I was that engrossed in things! :/ 1
