I have x12....chat is a big thing and I need a sensitive mic as i pretty much whisper when my daughter is asleep.

 

There's a Xbone chat adapter that they're advertising. [if you buy a new set.]

 

But legacy headphones won't work until early 2014, when Microsoft pull their finger out and release the adapter.

It is kind of annoying that these things aren't ready on release. I don't really use my Turtle Beach for chat, just like the surround sound for Movies or if I'm playing single player so it doesn't bother me too much. Having said that, I do like the new headset, the sound quality of voice seems a lot better than the 360's and the buttons for mute and volume are very nice. It is a bit awkward to unplug though, I feel like I'm going to break it if I'm not careful!

Are the batteries interchangable between 360 and one controllers?

 

 

If that is the rechargeable battery packs I believe they are not, as one if the redesigns of the controller was to bring the batteries 'inside' the controller body, this has been criticised as battery changes now take longer.

Question is, what happens when you fill it up then delete a few titles and install others, sequential may no longer be an option so performance may degrade.

It would be interesting to see how much performance degrades over time with the HDDs, but it's a bit of a moot point with the SSD.

... we discovered that the Xbox One does not play Blu-ray movie (BDMV) content from recordable BD-R discs. We tried both single and dual layer discs of various brands and types to rule out media incompatibility and none would play. This is not the fault of the drive, but is a designed-in software limitation – one of the stringent DRM policies that apparently has made it into the finished product.

This is a good read/cause Xbox Feedback agree with all of it, just need to add the annoying Xbox logo on any dlna played videos and the need to have it open to stream to it at all.

Some people are saying the XB1 games take anywhere from 10 mins (same as PS3/XB360) to 4 hours (longest known install of a game that I can find).

 

Please tell me you can play the game off disk while that is happening...
