Edubytes South Central Meet - Christmas 2017

Seeing as Poundland have just given me a Christmas carrier bag thoughts had better turn to organising the third South/Central/Kent Edubytes gathering. Here at Hogwarts we break up on Friday 15th December meaning if we stick with Wednesdays the 20th December would potentially be a starting point for peoples calendars and give some notice if you wanted to get cheap rail fares.

 

As usual, I can host here if people want me to, free parking is again on offer that week etc. Also this year the Christmas market will still be open in the square until the 22nd for those who wish to partake in some craft festive shopping. However, I won't be upset if someone else wants a turn hosting.

That said, I think I'm going to have to pass this time as I've got to go to look after my Dad over Xmas. We brought him down to us last year and it wasn't a success...

We finish on the 21st so the 22nd sounds good to me.

Hiya All - Don't break up until 21st and got DD @ dentist in Bournemouth on 22nd. Thinking outloud, if I bung her on a train home from Salisbury I could come. Please keep me posted

Ditto from me. Only break up on the 21st and have to plan Xmas looking after aged P and Second Xmas back at Château LeMarchand - plus BD #1 due to sprog over the break.

@BKGarry and everyone else. I am really disappointed to find I shall have to miss out Edubytes at Christmas. I am expected to be alongside the mayor at my governor school's carol service on 22/12 and had forgotten this.

 

I love the carol service... I'm disappointed because of the clash. Sorry.
