Hello DamnedGood, We use this system in our school on a 1 - 3 system and each week run the report and send it to all form tutors so students can write their marks in their planners and I publish the students with 75 points on the website and TV screens. Students who get 75 points all year get a letter sent home. We export the data and use a pivot table to filter the data our attendance officer produces the report. If your using office 365 2013 (latest update) you can add the permissions by the UI under admin > exchange select the user > edit > mailbox delegation > add your user there. Liam

Hello tj, What version of Spiceworks are you using? I know the latest version automatically setups SSO and works quiet well to get rid of the email box simply put there email address in the email field on AD. Hope this helps! Liam

Hi, When we have had the black screen on our Win7 machines there has been a couple of problems with a couple of settings in our old GPO's The first one we found was "run scripts synchronously" another was something along the lines of do not allow user to login until network is ready also another issue we had was we didn't have startup in our all programs menu and then finally there was an issue about offline files which once a user logged in they got the default icon to solve this we had to change a few settings on offline files. We already force complex passwords, are the STRONG passwords much different or are they the same as complex? TBH are staff have never used sky drive, so in many ways its not an issue for us we find that the share point is going to be a massive bonus for us rather than sky drive. Its just a bit disappointing not knowing when the upgrade is happening I would like to get share point setup for September.

Dead easy mate an because its linux you could use an old machine to test until your happy with it fog. If you google fog setup there is a very useful guide someone has done on spiceworks ive been using it for two years now very inpresed with it

I use a program called fog, really easy to setup and really quick ay imagining machines fog uses ubuntu.

we use the first letter of their name and then surname followed by the year of intake for example John Smith who started in 2012 would be jsmith12 we also usually ignore hyphens and any other symbols also if we have a duplicate we just use there first 2 letters so we would have jmsith12 and josmith12
