Thanks. I did come across that article when searching but as mentioned our letterhead logo and signatures are an image which MS Word let's you use as a background. Same doesn't apply to Google Docs. In Google Docs once you apply an image you can't write on it.

In MS Word we have a Letterhead Template that has our School logo and Head Teacher details. We use this to send out letter to parents etc. I tried to convert this into a Google Doc but it only appeared as a blank sheet when converted, the logo and other details disappeared. The logo and details are basically an image which is added as a background to the template. I cant seem to do the same in Google Docs. I added the image to the blank sheet but then you cant type over the image! Does anyone know how I can get the Letterhead template into Google Docs same as it works in MS Word? @Zoom7000 @rogerdnixon

Seems I cannot log into the Android App this morning. Get "Access denied" again. Any known issues? @ZeroHour

We have done this too. Total of around 50 Chromebooks so far. School is taking the risk and no insurance requirements have been asked of families.

It includes training staff too as far as I am aware.

Want to bump this thread and ask again if anyone is using this service in the UK and whether it is GDPR compliant? IF you are using it, does it work well? Is it completely free or is there a cost?

So looks like School staff can now get tested. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-getting-tested I think I have already had it so no good for me. Anyone going to get tested? I guess like every other test it's only valid on the day it's done. You could leave the testing area and catch it on your way home.

So this scheme has not gone live then? If it has, has anyone got the link to the page to order from please?

Our DCs are due for changing from physical to Virtual but at the moment they sit on some old Dell servers that run IDRAC6. I wanted to connect via our VPN from home to the running console on one of the servers as it is running a program that I need to look at that wont launch if I do an RDP session. Its been a long time since I had to launch the console via IDRAC. It is JAVA based but will no longer run and complains about weak signature. I found something on the Dell website which talks about temporarily changing settings in the Java.security file but I tried that and I get a little further but get "connection failed". No other indications or errors. Does anyone know a way of getting it to run or allowing me to connect to the Console session on the Server? Hope that makes sense.

Would be better if they had a queuing system like most retail websites are now doing. At least then you would know when you could get access to the site.

@resin1 after your post I tried again and as you say the site creaks along but I did manage to login and click the approve button. This time it took about 3 minutes but the status has changed to paid. Athough the site is still creaking and hasn't finished loading, I can see the order status has changed to paid. Progress of sorts!!!

Can student interact with the person doing the live stream? This is what I was asked. They don't want students on video but want the teacher on video with students able to interact and ask questions.

Same here - pending for 2 days. On the order history page where you check your order and go into it there is an Approve button. Do we need to click this? I have tried but get an error.

@Arthur - I had seen that Audio only setting but as you say it seems pointless when you can switch it on again and the fact it only applies to PCs/Macs.

Does anyone know if you can have a Google Meet with Teacher on video but students on audio only? So students can see the teacher but teacher cannot see students only hear them?

Has anyone tried to upload a CSV file onto the site? How long does it normally take? We have a list of only 24 rows and it is stuck on "please wait while we upload and validate your file request" for at least 15 minutes so far.
