Is that via Mobility print? We have papercut too. I am navigating to chromex.io via a pc so expected my network printers to be available but they don't get listed inside Chromex.

But do you do it from within Chromex or put it in PDF format or upload to Google drive and then print separately?

Does anyone know how printing works with Chromex? I get the option to print completed submissions but the only options I get are Save to PDF to Google Drive. Is there a way to print submissions directly from Chromex or do you have to save to Google drive first and then print?

Just looking at Chromex and wanted to know where this setting is that you mentioned "Option to Add custom Head with fields such as Candidate number,name which can be set as an input field which students enter when they start the exam"I cant find it. edit : Found it . Need to create a template

What does everyone do for printing the scripts? The JCQ regs say that the candidate should be present when printing to confirm that the script is theirs.

Never tried. Can the Chromebooks be locked down so no internet access & no spell check? We don't have printing enabled from the Chromebooks either as their usual function is to give access to Google Drive and Google Classroom.

Are the laptops then left on battery power for the duration of the exam? What if a laptop battery dies during the exam? If you plug them in how do you manage to plug in 20-30 laptops in the exam hall?

Do you have laptops set aside for this? We just don't have enough Laptops to do this. We primarily use Chromebooks here.

We seem to have more and more students that require a word processor for their exam. Currently we have been told 12 students will need to type their exam. How do you guys deal with this? Do you provide laptops in the Exam hall? We primarily use Chromebooks so only have a handful of laptops so cannot cater for this.

You need to go on the site in front of SLT and show them what can easily be found. Then see if they overrule you!!

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I have done what was suggested in the previous post but we still get "Lost connection to Codecademy". If I put my IP in Exceptions then I get access no problems so it is definitely Smoothwall blocking it somewhere but nothing comes up in the Realtime filter logs.

Does anyone who uses Inventry have issues with the quality of the printed badges? When the system prints the badge you cannot see the photo of the visitor. The photo of the visitor on the system is clear. They have provided us with a Brother printer and we use genuine Brother 'black on white' labels.

We have Adobe CC Named User Licences. I have deployed the packages to an IT Suite for the named students to use. Quite regularly I am getting emails to say that "New updates are available for the Creative Cloud products". How often, once deployed, should you update the products?

Yes, publishing the same printer directly works and I can bypass papercut and print from the chrome device.

Jobs pending release shows no jobs. Printer works fine from Windows. On the cloud ready device I am authenticating as a windows ad user with the ad password.

I'm using a test account. Definitely only 1 account on papercut.

So there is no way to print from the cloudready devices using our current system? At the cloudready device the user is typing their ad username and password. It's being accepted and the user can send the print. At the printer the user types their pin but there is no job waiting to be released. If I look at the print queue on the server the job is paused. Not sure where to go from here.

We have papercut set up to accept pin numbers so when they print from Windows they have to release the prints at the copier by typing their pin.

Thanks. That's working now for the app to ask for username and password but here the users authenticate to the MFDs with pin numbers. How do I change it so the app asks for s pin number or the print is sent and the user authenticates at the copier?

Does anyone know if Neverware Cloudready will work with Papercut for printing? Tried to deploy the Mobility Print App but Android apps don't seem to be supported by Cloudready.
