  1. Hi Can you reproduce the issue? When you disconnect the cable, whatever the client is striggling to do is obviously being skipped therefore allowing the effected user to logon. Regards Sukh
  2. Hi As suggested, have you deleted the local profile? Have as a test, deleted the loca profile by using the admin account, then removed the profile from the effected user under their user account properties and then tried to logon to the same PC? Regards Sukh
  3. Hi Are the any filters on the GPO? Have you run the GPO force? Are your PC's identical as the other PC's (except 64bit)? Regards Sukh

  14. Hi Can you run any task as a schedule. Do the following Try something basic like opening notepad.exe Try running the task logged in Windows. If this works then schedule the same task and set "Run whether user is logged on or not". Can you also look at the history tab if the task and check for errors. Let me know the results. Regards Sukh

  16. Hi Does ActiveSync work for any other users? Has ActiveSynch been disabled for this user or at the server/org level? Any ActiveSynch policies deployed? Ensure the MSExchangeSyncAppPool is running under IIS? Also run https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ and run the ActivSynch tests. Regards Sukh
  17. Hi Netlogon should not cause any issues (as long as you dont have any NT 4.0 DC), which I doubt. Was a scenario I remembered and typed first thing came to my mind. I'm sure the LEA won't take more than 60 days, if not, then you can change the attribute yourself. Netter off deploying SP1 than changing the setting. Regards Sukh
  18. Hi What if you create a shared folder for say a Maths teacher and called it Mr X. Then share this folder (change permission) and also set the permssions on the folder as Creator Owner Full control and create another group for the students with READ only access? Regards Sukh

Expand Protocols, expand HTTP, and then expand Exchange Virtual Server. Right-click the Exchange virtual directory that appears under the Exchange Virtual Server container, and then click Properties. Click the Access tab, and then click Authentication. If it is not already selected, click to select the Basic authentication check box. Enter a backslash (\) in the Default Domain box.
