Hi Did you try the link that I posted earlier. I have just downloaded the driver and am looking for specifics. When you download it mentions graphics driver but is supposed to be for Stirage (SATA). I have just extracted and am looking at it. Will let you know if this will help you. Have a look too. Thanks Sukh

Hi I'm not a HP specialist, but I do deal with them. If you have the Service Tag and Seriel Number of your laptop, you can go to the HP website and have a LIVE chat with a support representative (for free) who confirm and put you in the right direction for the drivers. Let me know if you have issues and I'll try. Thanks Sukh

Hi Can you post the exact command as you have typed it, maybe save the contents of the cmd window. To confirm/rule out the duplicate SID, can you continue with the steps ignoring NTDSUTIL command. Thanks Sukh

Exchnage 2007 - Authentication Pop-Up box in Outlook !!!
sukh replied to burgemaster's topic in Enterprise Software
Hi Is this issue for all users? Is this an issue for all PC's? Which version of Exchange are you using, i.e SP level What version of Outlook are you using, i.e SP Level? HTTPS for internal is fine and I will confirm but believe is default. Regards Sukh -
Hi Looking at the log you have posted shows the client working. Many have mentioned duplicate SID's which may be the issue. Can you identify this first by using HOW TO: Find and Clean Up Duplicate Security Identifiers with Ntdsutil in Windows Server 2003 Then we need to create a new sid for those duplicate and then finally run Delete Duplicate SUS Client IDs. Thanks Sukh

Hi You mention RaiD drivers, the service book for your model mentions only SATA. Was windows 7 originally shipped with the laptop? Thanks Sukh

Hi Run the server in safe mode and see the response of the server. Let me know the results. Thanks Sukh -
Hi Yes. If you've already got SQL Server deployed, depending on the licensing used, you may be able ti use another instance. If you're in the education sector, what is your current licensing programme that you're on? If you're going to renew, what do you plan to use EES? If so, get some quotes for Endpoint solution and I'll may be able to help you here. Also, consider using Windows Intune, unless you want to manage in-house. Thanks Sukh

OK, I assume you have made your mind up and have decided to go with Live@edu rather than having your own Exchange server? Which version of Outlook are you using? Can you check the profile of an email account and see what Exchange server you are connected to? Have you tried to connect to their AD via Users and Computers? Thanks Sukh
-
Hi Any reason why you are not using the service offered by the LEA? I assume there is a cost involved? When you use Outlook to connect to Exchange, are you using Outlook Anywhwere/RPC over HTTPS? If so , what version? Regards Sukh

Hi Cybernerd - What do you mean by PiTA? I believe this will too synch, however it seems like localzuk has a different root directory to where the contacts/users are in the GAL. Regards Sukh
-
Hi So, I assume your goal is to get a list of all contacts from the LEA GAL? Or particular users? Particular address lists? Or everything? I assume there is a one-way trust only? Also, if you were to get this list, have you thought about how maintain this if new staff were added or removed from the LEA GAL? Regards Sukh
-
Hi When you mean you have a seperat domain, do you mean a seperate domain in your own root directory or a child domain in the LEA directory? Regards Sukh
-
Hi @CyberNerd Please see Decide How to Provision Users If not clear then let me know. Thanks Sukh
-
Hi There are loads of articles which help you do this. Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and XP - Windows 7 Forums Search google. Regards Sukh
-
Hi In that case you have the option to either synch some of users or manually upload a CSV file with all your users in there. Do you have your own directory? A child domain? A resource directory? Thanks Sukh
-
Hi The site provisons users which includes getting user information from your directory (Users objects and Contacts). To export Contacts from your directory use LDIF/CSVDE which you can use. Do you have your own Exchange Org seperate from LEA or do you share? Thanks Sukh
-
Hi Have you seen Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver for Microsoft Windows XP Compaq Presario CQ62-220SA Notebook PC - HP technical support (United Kingdom - English) Regards Sukh
-
Hi You can export your contact details into CSV and then bulk import them into Live@Edu and Synch. See http://help.outlook.com/en-us/140/dd439356(classic).aspx Regards Sukh

Hi Can you post the exact error message? Also, you probably have checked the event logs, are there any errors around the time when you try to save? Thanks Sukh
-
Hi Sanchez OK. On #2 was you able to reproduce the issue? When removing the hotfix KB980232 did it work? Or when applying the KB983458 did it then work? If you have a clean buld of Win 7 with Office 2010 and applied without KB980232 & KB983458 , do you still have issues. Thanks Sukh

Hi Can you find a problem machine and run wuauclt.exe /detectnow and locate the WindowsUpdate.log file and post here or PM me? Thanks Sukh

Hi Can you tell me if what hotfixes you have removed? Have you removed all Office installations (if more than one has been installed) on your Windows 7 PC and have installed only one version of Office to test? Let me know. Thanks Sukh

Hi To use the new MSFT Endpoint security, you will need SCCM/SCOM. This is for the central management and reporting of your clients. You can deploy the client as a standalong, however this will be unmanaged. For your set-up, you will most probably need SCCM. It depends if you want to manage this yourself or not. You can always use In-tune. Regards Sukh
