  2. Need info mentioned above.
  3. Maybe not to thAt format bit you can tp a pst. Go to the calendar and select it amd then try or browse tp ot wjen you start the export.
  4. These types of issues are normally with autodiscover or certificates. Is the issue with internal/external clients? Also, are you using split DNS? If yes have you created your zone and dns records? Do the test autoconfig as mentioned above.
  5. Sp? UR?
  6. something to help you with calculating bandwidth if you wish to go into depth. Office Exchange Client Network Bandwidth Calculator
  7. In that case you should be ok. I assume where ever the users are physically located they have a good connection to the primary dc. Otherwise that would be your concern.
  8. cant remember on top of my head but there is gc/dc to exch ration, its on technet. Also I thouht you were concerned aboit the WAN bandwidth?
  9. The bandwidth should be good enough for a good user experience. If deploying cache mode then you may want to rolloit/stagger cache mode if bandwdith isnt good. Aswell as have multiple OAB generation servers.
  10. If you're using Exch 2007 then that isn't supported, I would upgrade to SP3 UR7 and then perform checks again.
  11. As long as latency is less than 500ms between the members then you're supported. I would create multiple DAG's if you have active/active deployment.
  12. Nope, unless you have a Sync whereby proxy addresses nned to be sync'ed with a gateway or 3rd party? Check MT Logs and up the Connector logging to verbose and repro the issue.
  13. see this How to use the Group Schedules feature in Outlook
  14. Exch has a mapping to a forest not domains.
  15. It's supported, I don't think that is the issue. - Exchange Server Supportability Matrix: Exchange 2010 Help Did you configure as per kb - Directory service server detection and DSAccess usage Did you restart the SA?
  16. Also, after the static config, did you restart thr SA and topologu service?
  17. Is Exch installed on a dc/gc? Can you up the logging?
  18. Is the root dc also a gc? How many do you have in the root domain? Have you ever statically configured dc/gc for use with Exch? This is an option. Up the logging for adtopology then check the app log for a 2080 event and post that. http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/exchange-system-manager-domain-controller-selection.html
  19. Not by a server at the mo, but it seems like a decent exch solution wont work. Can you add that recipient as a contact in OLK and see if you can set message format so that is saved. What helpdesk app is this?
  20. This has probably already been asked many time but have you ever thought about going to native Exch with OLK, On-Prem/O365, probably a whole lot easier and hassle free, less costly and used more.
  21. can you post get-mailcontact contactname | fl
  22. who is sending the message? internal or external recipients and who is receiving, the helpdesk?
  23. if the ost was deleted then mayne yes, if its sync'ed then unlikely, why can you ask the exch admins?
  24. not if the changes have been synced to the ost or you unless you created a new ost before the changes you made.
  25. Depending how the user is storing emails, seems like they are using cache mode, so the data will be in a OST. Not sure what exactly is required here, seems like you're trying to recover emails? If yes, haven't you got any Exch backups?
