We've recently replaced our classroom machines with i5 12th gen Flex Micros A fantastic little machine, drives our 4k displays and HD monitors with ease. Bonus points for being monitor mounted to avoid getting kicked and abused like the towers they replaced. Can't speak for their longevity or reliability yet, but if they are anything like our IT suite Flex Micros (roughly 4 years old), shouldn't have an issue.

Hi all, Having the following issue when using SMART Notebook 21 on our SMART Interactive panels When first writing on a notebook using the pen, the text appears in the wrong place - almost as if the screen is uncalibrated. When notebook is then closed and re-opened, the issue is gone and doesn't return until the machine is next restarted. All I can think is that it might be a display scaling issue as Windows likes to default the machines to 150% and we change it to 125% Wondering if anyone has come across something similar?

As someone who is looking into moving our MIS away from SIMS, this isn't giving me confidence in Bromcom... They were slow responding to emails regarding booking a demo, whereas other MIS providers got back to me within 24 hours. Now the outages people are reporting are making me consider the alternatives in a more favourable light. How long have these outages and performance issues been impacting the system? Not a good start Bromcom

We have an old sync & charge USB unit that 16 iPads at a time can be connected to. That unit is then connected to an iMac or MacBook - we then use the built-in image capture app to clear all photos and videos on the iPads in one go.

Domain joined laptops with cached credentials here - SSO on all accounts so OneDrive automatically configures. File sharing is done either via Sharepoint or OneDrive's sharing feature

Our data seems to be unaffected by this Scores match in both CSV and CTF

I highly recommend CBC Computers based in Sheffield - great service and very good prices However, I've just recently placed an order with VeryPC for our new classroom machines and have spec'd the following: Intel i5 11th Gen 16GB RAM 480GB SSD Micro Form Factor I know some of you will look at 16GB RAM and think "Why has he spec'd that much for a classroom? 8GB is surely enough" - yes 8GB RAM is currently enough. However, i'm regularly seeing our current 8GB machines at around 85% usage. While I've got the budget now, I'd rather 'future proof' the machines instead of diving down the back of the server cab looking for pennies in a few years. My two cents
