Towards the end of the first innings the number 11 hadn't bothered to get changed thinking he wouldn't have to bat. Sudden flurry of wickets, after a long delay he comes out of the pavilion carrying most of his kit, gets most of it on, sets off for the wicket. Stops on the way to finish doing up a pad, then stops again to chat to the non-striker. Gets to the wicket and decides he needs the sightscreen moved. Both sides were desperately hoping he'd get timed out if only for the laughs. Sadly the fielding side forgot you still have to appeal ! Then after all that he was out first ball !

Law 16.3.1.2 - a match shall be lost by a side which in the opinion of the umpires refuses to play. If so, the umpires shall award the match to the other side. I can understand the idea of recording a match, but actually live streaming it seems excessive. Nearly had a batter timed out last week !

I'm pretty sure they're following ECB guidance on this. I have a few misgivings but overall I'm OK with this. I'm not surprised you don't want to get involved with something like streaming. Nothing new, ground effect vehicles have been around for a long while and have never caught on. Much like flying boats, the benefits don't outweigh the limitations. I don't imagine strapping electric motors on them is going to change things. The Russians were very serious about these things. A friend has passed me an very old Android tablet. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5110. The PIN has been forgotten and there's emotionally important things on it. I suspect it's so old it might not be encrypted. Does anyone know if there's any hope of bypassing the PIN or otherwise getting in ? And if so how ? Thanks

Sadly we ditched all our stuff a while back. We intentionally waited a year after CC4 was released before migrating and it definitely paid off. CC4 was in principle a good product but it was released too early (RM admitted as much afterwards) and their original migration process was flawed in my opinion. The only option they offered was in place upgrade of CC3 servers. We got new CC4 servers and migrated our data and users across. More pain initially but a cleaner system and it paid off.

The Ofsted rating is judged at the point the scheme started regardless of how the school may have changed since then, which is why our trust has two schools rated 'Good' in an EIA who are eligible, they were RI when the scheme started. The info I got from a webinar was that schools that had dropped into RI or below since the scheme started would not be eligible, but on the other hand it didn't feel like an absolute no.
