Starting to sound a little like a high street preacher. Let be honest, we're living in a "Big Brother" country at the moment. Security Cameras are on the up. Records are being kept on everyone. It started off to be for our own safety, a lot of it still is. But, like everything in the world, it's being mis-used. Seen the film for V for Vendetta? I firmly believe the UK could end up being like that one day. And I firmly believe it's going to take something HUGE to stop that. But until there is not a huge amount you can do except be careful of what click, do, say, etc and carry on enjoying life. You never know there might be something in the Sun saying the Government are paying people to sit in starbucks to listen to your conversations in tomorrows release... what then?

a teacher here said the book app was useful, as you could change size and visuals so people who may struggle to read a style of writing can change the size or colours.

Ahh cool stuff. Found the stuff to cool CPU, using all XSPC stuff. Looking to get the XFX 5770 which is stupidly hard to find water blocks for. Atleast, I can't find anything. Also, when cooling GPU such as XFX 5770, do you remove or place water block over the top of the fan? Or is that a really stupid question?

So it turns out AVS watermarks the video and isn't free at all.

On the box it says about AVCHD, so yes. But the manual we have for it is only in French, German and Italian; so I can't check if it does other file types. I'll be trying to use AVS as Adobe is being a PITA. If it proves difficult or impossible I'll be phoning Adobe and putting Premiere on my iMac which has a pretty good spec

I found the trial version but it won't download. It requires to files to be downloaded. The first of the files will not download. Tried 3 different web browsers and a different pc. Which is frustrating. All external sites link to the Adobe download page to. I want to scream.

We're wanting it to look professional, so I'm not overally sure whether it's a cut and transition or a matter of playing around with effects. I think that's something I need to play around with. Thanks for suggesting AVS though I'll have to check out A. Premiere. Do you know if there is a trial version?

I'm not a huge Nix user, so this could be a really stupid question, but is OS like Ubuntu etc less prone to virus', like OS X is less prone to virus'?

We are currently going the though a complete website revamp. One of the ideas for the new website is a video made by students talking about the school. We have a very nice Canon HD camcorder to film the shots. Unfortunately the only video editing I have done is stringing clips together on Windows Movie Maker and exporting it. We are thinking of exporting the video has a .flv file so we can use Flash to play the video once it's on the website. Does anybody know, or use, any decent software that can help me do this? It would be extra-awesome if it was free or VERY cheap Thanks in advance.
