May i recommend I can Animate as your one and only point of call.. the software is deffo a "ronseal" product and thus allowing students to develop further skills in storyline development and movie making. It does not have all the bells and whistles of many ofthe other progs out there but in terms of developing animation skills the software does not do it all for you. After all if the software is good enough for ardman animations its good enough for me lol. Once you have completed your animation you can then export the movie into another program (imovie, moviemaker, movieplus etc) and the students can really go to town with editing and movie production. Oh yes and the digiblues work with it along with higher resolution camcorders etc pm me for further info if you like

Hi OPA-ABU.. I can confer with azhibberd that the article is the way to go for the MSI deploy of Office 2007 ..worked well on my win7 deploy. Just be mega carefull with your XML file and have a play with all the settings to get it right.. You do however need the office 2007 Enterprise Edition to do this.. forgive me if I am wrong here but other versions of Orofice do not have this deploy option.. The other way I did it for Win 7 for our Office Machines was to use MDT2010 to deploy then recapture an image with office all setup anc configured manually

we use artisteer and it has been a godsend.. great prog.. has a few quirks but if you work within its limitations all should be gravy

The certificate is not trusted because it is self signed. The certificate is only valid for localhost.localdomain. The certificate expired on 20/08/2009 10:33. Can anybody tell me why we have suddenly started getting this error when accessing certain https: sites. This being particularly annoyning for some external careers bods who need to accces thier citrix gateway. Also getting it for Skype, Twitter etc. I have let the sites in question through the synetrix netsweeper control panel and they have been working ok. Also we have an ISA box but I have tested this either side of ISA with same results

AB Tutor has been an absolute godsend here. We not only use it as a teacher/class mgmt tool but also as a remote support tool. We group classrooms with a specific password for each room so when a teacher loogs on they only see the room they are in and we even restrict the tools available to them depending in the level of training staff have completed.

OK checking random staff profile reveals start menu contains .. Accessories, Startup, iexplore, wmplayer all users on pc have full progs list for the pc

Hi Folks Had a quick trwal and can't find an answer to this one.... Might be me so I'll apologise jst incase the answer is on here. Got a funny start menu/programs issue Some staff have complained about the fact that they do not want the students programs list in their start menu, so I have removed the gpo that redirects their start menu and gpo was set to revert back to users profile. However now when you click start>programs nothing happens and the users get no progs at all. I have a test staff user that when you delete thier profile all goes back to normal and they get the all programs from the local pc, so the gpo seems to have worked? ANy ideas? As I don't really want to delete staff profiles and loose all aplication settings et al.
