The first post in every thread now has scroll bars at the bottom and right of the post. Also the text is not wrapping around the ad but rather starting at the bottom of the ad. Also if the post contains smillies then these stay in a fixed position when scrolling, the text moves underneath them. I have attached a screen shot. I am using windows 7 and ie8 at a resolution of 1280x800

You don't need an ADM, this policy is native to a 2003 AD group policy

Why are you creating a new domain, is it because you need to have a different domain name? you could save yourself a lot of work by adding your new servers to the existing domain and retiring the old ones.

I have just been through this exercise ... In the end I have used a redirected Start Menu and desktop. I am afraid it is your second option ... manually creating and copying the required shortcuts.

Is it the ones who store large amounts of data on their desktops that get affected the most?

Try a different network Port, Try a new patch Cable, Try a new NIC, If it's still not working then reimage the machine.

I had this problem ... In the end I cured it by creating a new mandatory profile. Don't know what caused it in the first place however.

If somebody needs to take vitamin supplements then it's quite clear to me that they are not eating a balance diet. Human Beings are omnivores, we are designed to eat a balanced diet of meat and vegetables. Too much of one and not enough of the other and we need to take supplements to keep us healthy. Eat both and generally we will be fine.

Too much of anything is generally not a very good idea. A lack of vitamin B12 however will lead to anaemia.

My father was a butcher, I was brought up living above the shop. I regually went on trips to the abattoir and local farms. The garage at the back of the shop was always an interesting place to be on the christmas run-up... I eat, and enjoy meat.

I don't really think there is anything unhealthy about eating meat is there? Lions and Tigers seem to keep quite fit on it.

Why is Quorn made to look like Chicken, or Beef Mince, or Sausages? I am sure it could be made to look like a tree, or a carrot and taste just the same.

I work for a primary cluster of 10 schools. Each school has a least 1 server, most have 2, so say 15 servers. and 10 seperate AD domains. Each school has between 200 and 400 pupils, so maybe 3000 pupils. Each school has an IT Suite with around 15 - 18 machines. Each school has a whiteboard and at least 1 PC in each room. Most teachers have a laptop. 1 school has 3 trolleys of 32 laptops, 5 schools have a trolley of 18 laptops. All of this is spread out over 10 sites. I do this on my own. I think I need to move to a high school for a rest :-))

OK... you might find this interesting Today's Exciting Careers I have been working in or around electronics / IT since the early 80's still find it interesting and challenging.

Thanks for the link to the codes, It will come in handy... in reply to your post however, how is trouble shooting and fixing computers wasting you time, is that not why you are employed?

We have a Promethean installation of whiteboard and projector. The projector used is the Sanyo PLC-XE30 - This has now unfortunatley died!! The bracket that was used at installation for mounting the projector appears to be a bespoke fitting for the XE30 projector. as the XE30 is no longer available What projectors can I use to replace the faulty one with? or is there a bracket available that will fit my existing promethean pole to allow another projector to be used.

I would really appreciate it if you could send me an invite...

When i visit the site using ie8 it appears as if the css in not being applied. I just get a page with plain text

Thanks for all of your comments and suggestions. I have taken them all onboard and have put a gradient on the background to tame the red, tidied up the school life section, and one or two other articles where the font had been changed. As for the clock ... I actually quite like it as does the school, so for now it's staying.
