Removing duplicate data on respective columns
Bedders replied to Wclarke17's topic in Office Software
EDITED so my answer is now based on your actual spreadsheet I'd add a new column in with the following formula. =IF(RIGHT(B2,2)=C2,1,0) Then either filter or delete anything that's the same. The formula gets the rightmost 2 characters from the left-hand cell, then compares that to the right-hand cell. If it's the same you get a 1. If it's different you get a 0. Filter or delete the 1's. -
Would Jawa(nt) that on your CV?

Hook it up to a laptop so you have a decent screen. Most camera manufacturers offer software that has some functionality related to controlling the camera if you want to do it on the fly, but this obviously requires some setup!

CMDR UK_BEDDERS if anyone's interested. New at the game and fairly bad at it, but I enjoy a good flight with friends! ETA: https://www.edsm.net/en/user/profile/id/41306/cmdr/UK_Bedders for the curious.

Two minutes of minor precipitation (I can't really call it rain) a couple of hours ago. Despite there being no sun, it's already dried up. Hopefully we'll get some tomorrow.

Might get a thunderstorm up here in Cheshire this evening, we may not. If we do (and if I remember) I'll post here to gloat. (Because getting rain in the North West is unusual... according to 2018. /s)

Suits me depending on the date.

I'm up for this one (depending on when, obviously). As for a place in Liverpool - I went for a meal at George's Great British Kitchen, would recommend!

Non work related - ASUS cable router question
Bedders replied to andyturpie's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
They have a demo UI available here ASUS Wireless Router RT-AC5300 - Network Map. There's an option for limiting using the firewall, or on each device you can set a Time Schedule in the Clients section. When I get home I can have a proper look. EDIT TO ADD: There's a whole Time Scheduling section under Parental Controls, ASUS Wireless Router RT-AC5300 - Parental Controls. -
Virtualizing server suggestions
Bedders replied to xxlonewolfxx123's topic in Learning Network Manager
If you're comfortable with the command line, sure! I believe it has a lower resources overhead compared to installing Windows Server 2016 then adding the Hyper-V role to that. However think about what happens when you're no longer working there. Your school will need to employ someone who can (or can learn to) manage a headless Windows Server. (Also, if you've got a spare PC that has 4GB RAM and a gigabit network card, you could probably spin that up with Server 2016 as a secondary Domain Controller, even if only temporarily.) -
*compares to my Steam library* Awwww look at the little cutie... 44 unplayed games... how sweet.

I've noticed that only some counties have flags in the Region/State Flag section of your member profile, I believe from this thread way back that it's due to the lack of a high enough quality version. I propose here that we can post a county/region that we wish to be added along with a link or embedded image of that flag. This will mean that they're all in one place, should our illustrious (and kind! Merciful! Insightful!) site admins ever get chance to review this. County: uk cheshire Flag link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Cheshire#/media/File:Cheshire_Flag.svg County: uk wiltshire Flag Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Wiltshire#/media/File:County_Flag_of_Wiltshire.svg

A simple way to get the current version: Function GetVersion() As Long GetVersion = Application.Version End Function Source: https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/microsoft-office/use-vba-to-return-the-current-version-number-of-any-office-application/

[layout issue] No Avatars Loading When Looking At Threads
Bedders replied to 6Foot2's topic in EduGeek.net Site Problems
Confirmed, uBlock Origin did the same for me earlier. Whitelisted and all is well. Apologies for not posting, this was a 7am before I'd had my coffee. -

Suggestions on upgrading the PCs from windows 7 to 10
Bedders replied to genesis's topic in Windows 10
At the time of our upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10 workstations we had both a 2003 r2 and a 2008 r2 domain controllers here, with Forest and Domain Functional Levels at 2000 native. I'm in the process of upgrading them but don't worry about legacy Active Directory infrastructure! We still have to have a few Windows 7 clients so I left our existing GPOs in place. All I did was create a new OU for Windows 10 machines and applied anything required to them, working around the User GPOs as best as I can (some stuff still in there from the XP days which I daren't touch!) We're not a school and only have 80-odd workstations and 20 servers. Went to Windows 10 Pro because Enterprise costs far too much. -

Also what is your budget for this?

You just need to check for the value of sMobile before writing this, in your html body section. CreateSigFile.WriteLine "M: "& sMobile & " " This is why you get the "M: " written out - it writes the string, but has nothing to write for sMobile so leaves that blank. Have you considered IsNullOrEmpty? Technet Article.

I've finally started to make some progress. Got my water wheel set up, just need the mulberry trees to grow and I can finally haul myself out of my rocky cave. Did get a look at the castle down South though.. Blimey it's impressive! The DynMap doesn't do it justice as that misses out the modded blocks/machines etc. Good job Moo and Joh!

That looks like an interesting place to work for! Hope you have fun, and good luck! (Also as someone who left education and is still active, I hope to see you around)

Oh yeah, I've been there! They were hosting a sheep-herding event, being run by a European Immigrant. He had a stage name, too, but I can't recall it. German Shepard. That was it.
