We've kinda had a mirror universe experience than @Norphy and @ful56_uk... wouldn't recommend them, staff would prefer to go back with Capita. @Boredguy usually gets the fun of items involving SIMS and them, so I'll let him add his 2 cents when he sees this.

[sccm 2012] SCCM not deploying 1903 upgrade update
DJ-1701 replied to DJ-1701's topic in O/S Deployment
Gave it a run, but no failure signatures, so looks like it's only reading from the part after it downloads the update to the local machine... it seems in my case it isn't even getting so far as downloading it, even though it's certainly on the server. -
[sccm 2012] SCCM not deploying 1903 upgrade update

Software update. Ironically testing TS upgrade deployment at present and that appears to be working... but would really like to get the update working as well. -
Ok, so I deployed an update with SCCM (the 1903 upgrade targeted to a test machine), looking at Deployment Status it only states Client check passed/Active... a blank folder exists in the Windows\CCMCache folder... a file is generated in Windows\CCM\Temp called Delta_b6be66e2-e8f6-4fe3-97a4-665e2f8acff1 with a size of 1KB nothing is installed... any ideas? Data in file is as follows:

If they are begging, then I will take them... but I think you are selling these and forgot to put a price. I used all my money buying items from @DalekSec. Fool me once... This is those magic beans all over again!

If the server goes off, I’ld say you have a bigger issue on your hands. [emoji6] It used to be that older GPOs back in the XP days would suggest a UNC path, but I agree, local is much better.

Shouldn't you change your name then?

Ok, so we recently had to get this working from Windows 7 32-Bit to Windows 10 64-Bit, in case any of you are still using the TS-30's we had to update the Firmware from a Windows 7 machine to the Firmware for the MDX40A, this is what we had to do... On a Windows 7 machine, download the UpgradePackage.exe from 3D | Download | Roland DG Corporation (aka http://download.rolanddg.jp/en/upgrade/program/UpgradePackage.exe) and run the package to extract the installer files into a directory. To update the Firmware you will need to be physically at the printer for the multiple times you have to press certain button combinations. Run the MDX40AUpdater.exe and follow the instructions, when asked to install the Printer, use the same information that @adhutton provided years ago for installation. (http://www.edugeek.net/attachments/forums/hardware/17745d1365160100-roland-ts-30-drivers-_installation_instructions_for_rotocamm_ts-30_printer_driver_march_2013.pdf) and select the drivers from the WindowsDriver subfolder. Once this has been done, you can now configure the device on Windows 10 64-Bit. On Windows 10 64-Bit, download the latest 64-Bit drivers from here https://www.rolanddga.com/support/products/milling/modela-mdx-40-3d-milling-machine (http://download.rolanddg.jp/en/upgrade/program/25D_WIN8X64_v120.zip) and extract to a folder. Go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers, at the bottom of the list should be an 'Unspecified' item named MDX-40A. Right click on this and select Properties. Select the Hardware tab and click on RolandMDX-40A and then click Properties. Click the Change settings button on the Window that appears. Select the Driver tab and click Update Driver. You will be asked 'How do you want to search for drivers?', select 'Browse my computer for driver software', then 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer'. Click 'Have Disk...' and select the location of the 64 Bit Drivers, 'Roland MDX-40A' should now appear, click 'Next' and when asked if you like to install the Roland Printer, click 'Install'.

Just be careful with this... I noticed it knocked out some of my custom smtp and SMTP (default) entries as well.
